She released her debut album ten years ago but still hasn't managed to top the UK Top 40 singles chart.

Will she get one soon?

As one of her biggest fans I believe she will and she has only been around since 2009 here in Britain AFAIK

Depends whether people can get past her slutty reputation.

They seem to get past Justin's bad behaviour though.

I think she's firmly a number two in a lot of people's minds these days.

Pathetic if true. Imagine if male singers had to deal with that. Imagine if male actors had to deal with that too. No way would DiCaprio have an Oscar

She's too stuck up to allow her music on Spotify and streaming services so no. Thank God.

Her music is on streaming services like Apple Music.

She doesn't allow Spotify because they insist on their free tier with pathetic royalty payments that rip artists off. When Spotify gets rid of free (it will happen, Spotify cannot afford to continue the freebie tier much longer - even with the pathetic payouts) her music will be on Spotify again.

No. I think if she was going to it would have been Shake It Off.

Her first gig in the UK was in 2008. I was there!

What "slutty reputation"? You can't be serious. All those romances are for PR. It's being fake that's her problem. People are catching on.

She might have had a number one by now if she had released 'Style' as the lead single to her last album. It was far and away her best song from that album, but instead she chose to release the immensely annoying 'Shake It Off' before then dropping the album itself. The rather bland 'Blank Space' then followed. It was some poor decision making on her part.

'Style' was an absolute belter of a track.

Oddly enough I reckon had Taylor Swift's music been available to stream on Spotify, Blank Space would've been a UK #1.

Shake It Off was never going to be #1 because of the dominance of All About That Bass.

She is a serial man-eater, I don't think she knows what love is, she seems so damaged and totally self-obsessed, and gets rid of men as soon as they're no longer useful to her. I reckon she only became friends with people like Selena Gomez for more publicity.

Her music is great though. Unfortunately people won't see that, but if Justin Bieber and Chris Brown can have successful careers after everything they've done, I think Taylor will too.

Yet if one of the lads from ID dating around, he wouldn't have a "slutty rep". Taylor doesn't need to be settled down if she doesn't want to be and she doesn't have to be single either. It's a shame that women can't just date around without people tearing us apart for it.

Don't get me wrong, I think the same of Zayn from 1D.

I think the issue lies with her lack of respect. She clearly didn't care about Calvin finding out about the Tom thing, and she moved on so quickly.

Maybe in time, shes talented and has good songs - that always helps.

BTW, both her albums Red and 1989 topped the charts here so it's not as if she's never had a #1 here.

Style was a great tune, fantastic 80s melody, but all the Harry Styles allusions in the lyrics and video were cringeworthy.

For me it's more the lack of self-awareness. I know that my word isn't gospel, but I just can't believe that her relationship with TH is real in the slightest and given the backlash, I don't think the general public is really buying it.

Taylor Swift is just a never ending publicity stunt.

She's playing the game and knows exactly how to manipulate the media to get what she wants. Then the media give her all the attention she requires to milk her latest relationship/scandal/break-up/songaboutformerboyfriend etc...

The public lap it up, Taylor benefits from the media attention and goes all $$$$$ *.* $$$$$

What are the odds of there being a song about Tom Hiddleston on Taylor's next album as they will have inevitably split up by the time it's released?

Taylor really is shameless.
