UB40-The Earth Dies Screaming (1980)
Another 80's tune I had completely forgotten about
Released in 1980 & from the album 'Signing Off' I consider this track to be one of their best The lyrics in the current world climate etc more relevant than it was all those years ago Worthy of a re release imho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWl69ZOINfE |

When I think of all the wonderful reggae music there was around at that time (Black Uhuru, Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, Misty in Roots, Chalice, Black Roots, The Ruts...), if I never heard this politically correct dirge again I wouldn't be too concerned.
