Last week you voted Eastenders as the best soap, with Coronation Street claiming the title the week before. But what was the best soap this week? Vote in the poll above

If you vote please could you state which soap you voted for, purely to keep the thread bumped. Thanks

I've voted for Emmerdale as I think they've had a good week, I'm enjoying Chrissie getting her revenge on Andy, Marlon & Carly, the twist with the Belle storyline, the scenes with Chairty and Chas & the pub competition thing, as well as the longer running stories like Holly'd addiction and Ashley's Dementia.

Emmerdale.. normal service as best soap has been resumed

I have enjoyed EE and Hollyoaks oh and red rock was caught up on while I was off work. I am getting more into it now

Corrie has maybe stepped down a gear

Emmerdale - Stories with the Whites - Lawrence getting shot and Andy being framed, Chas' welcome return, plus Gabby looks likely to get her comeuppance. Nice to Rakesh back in the law firm.

I went with Emmerdale, they seem to be in a league above the rest.

EastEnders was brilliant on Thursday, and still good last night. Some very intense scenes but very well written. I'm loving Ricky/Jack, it's the cutest storyline ever!

I will take that into account, and knock off a vote from Eastenders and add it to Emmerdale

Corrie's the only one I watch but I voted on the count of last nignht's episodes which I thought were beautifully written & very well acted by everyone, with everyone very much in character!!
As I said in your night thread Ben, Corrie just FEELS different atm & so far improved on say a month ago!!

(Thanks for PM by the way, will try get more involved in the night thread cos I'm usually up till 3.30/4.00ish!!)

Yes, I'd say that It's improving, and we've had lots of decent episodes this week, though not a patch on this week's Emmerdale for me

I can't take the credit for the night thread, Zeus89 started It, a great idea, looking forward to seeing you there some time

Emmerdale has been the most engaging this week. Right now, it's the soap I really look forward to watching.
