EE: Jay the Bag head

So is this his big story? cos the last one was over in two mins other than him being called a pervert every time he is on screen!

I'm not a fan of drug use being shown on screen but this could be a good story for Jay

when Billy called Babe grotbags, I thought, is Jay going to have to save Ollie from a burning building to be redeemed

but no, they are going to make him sink even lower (if that is possible)

thoughts on the storyline?

Lucky Jay and all that coke.

Surely something needs to come of this storyline sooner or later? They keep showing him sneaking bags of coke around and looking quizzically at all the coke he has, but the story isn't actually going anywhere. The biggest consequence so far has been a dead rabbit and weirdly comical scenes of Roxy sh!tting out drugs.

If the writers are going to show drug deals onscreen then they should treat it seriously and show younger, more impressionable viewers why it's actually very, very bad.

can't argue with that, I do think sometimes on soaps it kind of glamourises drug use.

hopefully things will move on quickly. Think we should get a good performance from Jay whatever happens

Sometimes drug dealing is glamorised in drama but I can't see anything remotely glamorous about poor Jay's situation. I hope the writers aren't so predictable as to have Janet or William finding, and consuming, Jay's little bag of gear.

I find the recent Jay storylines very sad indeed and really hope he has some good fortune in the not too distant future - but I can see him becoming more hope-less and trying to do himself in.

I'm not sure, but I expect better of Jay!

I don't condone in drug use
