Why though ... WHY ?

It's not just his sleazy back-story, it's his face

What's wrong with it ? Has he had botox, or some kind of plastic surgery ?

Dunno but Marnie isn't particularly fussy ...or so I've heard

I'm the same age as Marnie, and I'd pick Grant over the rest of the knobs in there anyday. Maybe that's just me

She's bisexual, not lesbian, or at least that's what I think she said on launch night.

Obv bisexuality isn't the same for all bisexuals, not all have a 50/50 percentage attraction, some have a higher pref for one over the other (and I suspect Marnie has a much higher pref for males, but could obv be wrong). Some bisexuals experience their attractions in a fluid way, i.e. the attraction is always moving depending on life stages (even shorter periods like days, weeks, years) as opposed to being more like a static percentage which sticks pretty much throughout entire life. Some bisexuals don't all have sexual and romantic attraction for both. Example my male bisexual friend is more romantically drawn to woman and mainly has relationships with females, but is more sexually drawn to men so prefers sex with them, but in general he finds relationships difficult when he's with either as he can't marry the romantic/sex components in one person (which is sad for him). In contrast, myself (and most other bi people i know) are romantically and sexually drawn to both males and females as general (and we're in high majority monogomous too).

Hughie claimed to be bi-sexual too. I don't feel he is though. I could be wrong but I can't ever see him being attracted to a girl.

Do you think this becasue he's quite camp? Because I know bisexual guys that are very camp, hence then mistaken for being gay, but still fancy the pants off girls and have had (and still do) relationships with them.

Masculinity and femiminity are not mutually exclusive with being gay or straight. It's commonly found in males or males, gay, straight, but people have an abundence of both or more of one regardless of their sexuality/gender. Humans are complex and diverse, and social upbrining can sometimes surpress lots of us in our behaviour (including with straight people) . I've got an array of gay, straight, bi and pan friends and we're all varying. Some of us conform to stereotyopes (unintentionally) and some of us are the complete opposite or between our typical stereotypes of behaviour. Hughie may or may not be, but I think the respectful thing to do (for him and anyone of any sexuality or gender) is always to respect what they identify as and accept it until they say otherwise (regardless of whether we are 'convinced' or not).

I do accept, however I'm just not convinced. Like I said, I could be wrong but he just came out before the show.

I have quite a lot of gay friends who told their parents, friends etc they were bi-sexual to soften the blow when they first came out. All but one are just simply gay.

Sticking with my gut on this one.

He's a lovely wee guy ni matter what he is.

She's a bisexual who loves girls and boys in equal measure.

Oh of course, lots of gay males (and females) end up using the bi identiy as a stepping stone (through no malicious intention to muddy or erase the bisexual identity of those that actually are) via eventually coming out as gay or lesbian, so, these things happen for sure.

Some people genuinely think they are bisexual when they say it, and then later are convinced again, but weren't lying, just realised again. Some people are on a sliding scale, some static, and sometimes labels don't fit all of the time. But bisexual men exist, and they're the most invisbile group of the straight/gay/bi sexualities. Bisexual girls are more visible, but not taken seriously, so some (say like some of my hms) assume Marnie is not genuinley bisexual and actually just using the tag as an attention seeking device. That's pretty much the general idea of bisexuals, male bis are all just gay men waiting to fully come out, and female bis are all just straight attention seeking women that falsify coming out.

Hughie is lovely, and if he comes out as gay then great for him and your gut will be right.
