I just think that it could work as you would be able to do any storyline, without anyone complaining of the watershed, and also we get to hear some swearing so it make the show more realistic

Don't fear, this is well covered in the plans I have outlined in my letters to the BBC and I am confident it will be on screen in the coming weeks

I like the idea of a hollyoaks later style EE spin-off

I quite like the idea of a late night enders.
Imagine the swearing though, most of it coming out of Mick Carter's mouth, he'd be calling people 'faaaackin' caants' left right and centre! |

I have some involvement with commissioning late night specials at the Beeb and unfortunately twenty seven pages of Andy undressing for a shower, getting into the shower, turning on the shower, lathering himself fully in the shower and finally drying off with a hand towel following a shower just didn't cut it. So I made some suggestions and somehow Johnny and Steven ended up in the same bathroom as Andy. Expect to see it on our screens in the autumn. The trailer will be out soon.

Hi Elly glad to hear from your inside expertise that my intricately detailed remarks have indeed been taken into account as I anticipated. I expect the scenes where Mick gets Andy to come and deal with a knob (on the bedroom door) are to be screened as well.

I can confirm that the knob-handling scene has stayed largely as written, though I have added in some action shots of Mick's knob being polished as cleanliness is getting a big push in the Beeb's public service remit in 2016.

Excellent, glad to hear it! They must be won over with the suggestion to open the grand new Gym & Swimming Pool then.

It wouldn't make the show more realistic if the swearing was only in the late night episodes, but not the regular episodes. In fact, it would make it stand out more in the pre-watershed episodes there is no swearing.

There are some issues with this. Apparently Davood Ghadami is objecting to his character's choice of workout gear. He feels neon pink speedos isn't really something Kush would willingly wear while working on his personal best on the treadmill, and neither him nor James Bye are particularly happy with the scene where Martin gives into his lust while spotting Kush's weight-lifting. I mean, what can I do? I feel like I'm working with amateurs most of the time. But I'll endeavour to bring our combined artistic vision to the screen, Foxy.

It's a shame as I thought that "Kush and Martin's personal training scenes" would go down a treat with all involved. I was eagerly anticipating the weight lifting love scene and the wash down in the showers after an intense workout. I appreciate your efforts nevertheless.

Only if we get to see Johnny and Steven give into their pure lust for each other in a Queer Of Folk type sex scene

Yeah, even more episodes, that's clearly the answer.

Hollyoaks Later is what E20 should have been. The Brendan Brady series of Later was brilliant, apart from all the teens in Amsterdam crap which was unnecessary.
