I maybe will get shot for saying this but I am wondering if Big Brother wanted Jason to win as he would just fade away and make way for CBB. Pick on someone and guaranteed votes. I do not think for one minute Jason wants fame. My opinion only.

I don't get what point you're trying to make as who ever won BB has nothing to do with CBB,it never crosses my mind anyway as most winners fade away into background,
It's not like the first few years of channel 4 BB when the likes of Jade Goody and such like ended up everywhere in reality TV,nowadays you don't hear about the contestants once it's over even though Ryan is trying to hang onto the fame by the skin of his teeth
No I think the Hughie win was so clearly set up (e.g. apparently in the full clip he was delighted when Ryan walked in with his tattoo, but the HLs version he seemed to kinda ignore it - i.e. the edit distanced Hughie from the poisonous and unpopular influence of the orange oompa).
They just panicked this year as per usual, as well as having new a new and inept producer or two imo.

Jason obv wants some fame as otherwise he wouldn't go on the show in the first place, but he's got his dosh and prob is happy CBB is taking attention off him. And Big Brother just cares about ratings in general, so what it is focused on right now are the present hms (whether civillian or celeb).
I always got the impression Jason wasn't in it for fame. At least not the kind of fame the others wanted. Jason seemed to be somewhat insecure and went on BB to prove something to himself. He's done that and succeeded. I think the last thing he wants is to be followed by paparazzi and have his privacy invaded by the press and media. I'm thrilled he won, and now I think he deserves to be happy on his own terms.
I'm in California and am looking at twitter when the UK is sound asleep. Jason flashed up on my feed. I think it was Wednesday night, said he could not get to sleep. He mentioned that he had to be on the set early in the morning as well

I can see why you would follow Jason on Twitter when he comes out with absolute gems like that...
He should just watch his BB highlight reel if he is having trouble nodding off.
Rachel was monumentally boring yet people seemed pleased she won. Which I never understood. But Jason actually entertained me for the few weeks of the series... Found the fact he was inscrutable to be interesting, wondering what was really going through his mind... Not been many BB HMs like it, so I found him intriguing to watch.
Also, when they went in, my first reaction to him was that he was a proper, classic Channel 4 style HM - which is nice compared to the orange, plucked, surgically enhanced 22 year olds Channel 5 favours.

Bots made a fool of themselves during their last show. Both Rylan & Emma made it obvious that Jason wasn't their winner.....
It didn't come across well ; the people had voted. The presenter's feelings were entirely irrelevant

I enjoy the series as and when it comes around, haven't watched the last few years, cept for celebrity ones, even missed one of them, but good God! £115 voting a nonentity...beggars belief! Shows you the extent some people are hooked!

These days, nearly all the hm's fade away within a day or two. 99.9% of the general public simply have no interest in bb hm's once the show is over.
