Scotty wasnt boring, you could tell he had a laugh in there. He didnt create any drama but that never been what hes about. Every housemate that got evicted loved Scott and said how much fun he is. I remember seeing him on live feed a few times and he was so different to what he was like in the edited shows. I think he would of been better suited to this series. I hated the last one, all about Steph and Jeremy which I found extremely dull.

Substitute the name Scotty for Alex and you could be talking about him, the thing is if you are not shown talking and interacting, it's like it never happened no matter how nice you are.
couldn't they have put a strong female athlete instead of GS types? I remember the judo guy Ashley Mckenzie or Gareth Thomas. Why never females that have a different edge to them other than drinking, shagging, vulgar language etc on national television...

Why anyone would vote for someone off Geordie Shore is beyond me.
I hope the same thing happens to her that happened to the Welsh Girl and she gets kicked out on mid series. She is a pathetic attention seeking individual with not an ounce of class.
I actually think she'll over - do the Geordie Shore "thing". Even on the show itself she tries too hard to be Charlotte X 100. Always more sexual, more aggressive, a real try-hard. Hoping she will shoot herself in the foot with trying to meet the GShore standards. She's a caricature nothing more nothing less so I don't think she'll win.
I'm not sure she will, I watch GS and Marnie has never been that popular. Probably more liked than Ricci, but not in the same league as Charlotte or Vicky.

Charlotte and Scotty didn't win because they were in GS and rep a tyoical type of behaviour. Not all BB viewers will have seen GS (like me) so can only judge them on this show alone. I don't know how many viewers CBB gets vs GS but I'm guessing that even if Charlotte and Scotty had carried GS fans over to BB that they'd still need non GS fans to like them a plenty too in order to win (esp as they're competing against other celebs, i.e. singers, actors with potentially much larger fan bases).
GS I don't think, by reputation, would be a prerequiste for winning BB, as the BB contestants generally are more diverse than the GS cast (age, background wise) so what BB voters like will spread from end to end, whereas GS seems to cast like for like types for their programme.
I didn't particularly like Charlotte but didn't really dislike her either, and didn't like Scotty at all but certainly didn't hate him, so fans of Charlotte might not even have like Scotty and vice versa. Marnie won't be liked or disliked because of GS or Scotty/Charlotte, and BB viewers won't be influenced to vote for her just because of some association of a show or a viewing loyalty to it.

I understand the point you are making but you just have to look at the amount of twitter followers they have... Scotty has over 1 million and Charlotte has almost 3 million. Marnie doesn't have as many as those two but still enough to make a difference in the vote

I can understand Twitter may point to some number of popularity, but Twitter isn't reflective of all UK BB viewers (who aren't all on Twitter) just as all our views on Digital spy don't point to all UK TV viewer opinions. But I take your point, Twitter can really sway some exisiting/new fans with all the trending tweeting stuff, so perhaps in that sense Marnie may benifit from that constant discourse and movement there.
