Megan works on many projects I'd assumed she was only doing bits she wanted on Emmy. Would be nice if they could use her more as she is very good when she has a storyline.

She collaborates with her mother quite a bit on plays/tv series I think. I know she had quite a lot of input in In The Club. She was in Fat Friends but that may have been pre-Emmerdale. I think you might be right in that she can pick and choose, as long as she fulfils her contract.

Looking at Gaynor faye's writing credits, there is some massive exaggeration that she works "quite a bit with her mother" and "had quite a lot of imput in In the club"

She did write ONE EPISODE of In the club.
She did create and star in her own television show called The Chase, which she wrote one episode herself.
And did write a few episodes of Fat Friends and Playing The Field. But this was back in the late 90's and early 00's.

and she recently said in an interview that she will no longer be working with her mother anymore as she wants to continually be see as her own person.

But outside of emmerdale, she doesn't work on other "many projects". But if she was to leave, i have no doubt she wouldn't be out of work for long as she was an established successful actress before ED

I think people are trying to find excuses that do not exist on why she isn't appearing much. When in actual fact, she appears in a perfectly moderate way and is far from underused as people are constantly making out.
