Indeed the England/Wales you could just about understand as it was probably done to be neutral in terms of pundits.
England/Spain-wise as you say probably makes less sense - especially given its a friendly.
Been away a bit last few days and only seen bits and pieces of coverage but not particularly impressed by what I have seen.
I thought Pearce's commentary on Bournemouth/Sunderland last night really was terrible. He can produce good commentaries sometimes but often at times can be dreadful.
From what I saw of the NL Derby post-match coverage too, Howard Webb did a fantastic job explaining about the offside rule and the interpretation on it. He was informative, clear and concise. Wright, Rio and 'Arry's contributions in the studio were particularly lacking by comparison.
And sorry but once again I was not impressed by BT's line-up for a pretty big game. Redknapp, Wright and Francis all being used really isn't great.
Redknapp in particular was a bad choice. Hoddle and Jenas are two ex-Spurs pundits who we know can do a good job in the studio and are regularly on BT but instead 'we get 'Arry who is truly awful and like a few others on the channel really should stay on BT Score.
In all honesty of the two BT PL games this weekend, the Saturday line-up sounds stronger on paper.
