Tyler and Smith at a Wembley for Sky.

Slightly surprising; I expected Provan. I'd imagine he'll be co-comm at Hampden next year (alongside Tyler), which will be live on Sky.

Maybe Sky will go three man and put Neville up there?

With Ian Holloway taking up the QPR job, do you think we will see another pernament Pundit join, or will they just use what they have more.

I wonder if they had planned on Ian being involved heavily on 10 in 10.

Surprised he has gone back into management, as during his time at Crystal Palace, at the end, he didn't look very well

See the Football league show is on much later tonight - without the Championship of course.

Maybe see more of Beagrie, Prutton, Higginbotham, Goodman and Hinchcliffe in the studio. Mellor started to do more L1 and L2 (-'es last season plus an occasional Championship game so it could be more co-commentaries for him.

There's barely a weak link in Sky's Football League coverage, really.

Indeed I saw that too - let out a groan when it appeared.

That said it doesn't appear to be limited to the football - notice all the replay graphics for the England rugby game earlier had '#ForTheShirt' appearing. I assumed that was just an England Rugby Official media were using but turns out it wasn't.

Goodness knows who Sky are trying to impress with these gimmicky slogans for matches. I get that given the larger and larger amounts these days spent on sports rights maybe they want to big up what they have but the slogans they are using are absolutely cringeworthy.

If they're going to do it, at least do it well.

Didn't catch the England/Scotland game (and the ratings actually for it are surprisingly low at 4.8 million - though excluding HD/+1 etc.) so can't comment too much on the coverage but I have always enjoyed Ally McCoist as a pundit and was surprised until now that since leaving Rangers he only popped up on some of the BT Red Button commentaries and little else.

The Ally 'n' Andy partnership was probably the time I liked Andy Townsend the best and while neither are necessarily the best analysts I always felt they made the broadcasts enjoyable.
I'd happily see more of Ally McCoist.

Though Townsend is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me these days now his appearances on my TV are less regular - probably for that reason. 'For me' Clive' is probably less irritating if you hear it only every 2 years rather than every other week.

PLEASE make use of the notes field when using the data hub folks.

No sooner than it was reinstated, someone has gone through and marked most of the matches that were set to incomplete as complete. On the face of it, this is a good thing - but no more information was actually added. For example, one of them has a comment of "commentary team is for definite, but everything else remains unknown" - yet it has been marked as complete. If you come across a message like this and know that only commentators were part of the coverage, then please leave a note to say so rather than just marking it as complete. Otherwise, I'm left wondering whether it really is. Thanks. Remember, I have to approve everything that gets marked as complete, so if I don't have sufficient evidence or explanation - it won't be accepted.

I have marked the matches in question as incomplete once again so I encourage whoever did this to go back and revisit them. If you have info to share, please share it - otherwise if you are unsure or do not know - do not mark it as complete. Cheers.

Following on from my previous post, I can see that the person in question has already gone back and entered the necessary info. Awesome, thank you. You know who you are!

This system has worked well for keeping track of broadcasting info for games going forward, it is just the issue of going back and covering games from earlier on in the season which has proved tricky. However, happily - we've managed to now get all of that covered, for the most part anyway.

The only info we haven't got is for a few pre-season friendlies involving Liverpool and Chelsea on their respective TV channels. Personally, I could live without not knowing those details but it would nevertheless be nice to see a zero against the "no data" category!
