Not the greatest coverage by Sky today.
As others have said the 'names' for matches are embarrassing.
I see it's spread to other sports too with 'Duel in the Desert' for the F1 next week. Goodness knows who they're trying to appeal to with these slogans.
Adding these names too doesn't help when the matches turn out to be damp squibs.
The SSNesque graphics pre-match too has rightly been slammed on here - it takes up a lot of the screen and offers little benefit. I know BT use it too but at least there it's normally only on non-live programming which is only be watched by a handful by viewers.
Agree with Cardio on Giggs too. He seems to be fairly in-vogue at the moment with broadcasters but I'm not a fan whenever I see him appear.
Add in the nonsense that is FNF and a few other things and Sky have lost their way a bit. They have seemed to have made changes nobody asked for and for no obvious benefit.
To continue the negative tone, never been a fan of having two Redknapps on TV in one day like today.
I've said it before but I do wish BT would use Jenas as their Spurs pundit or even Hoddle. I do find it odd that Jenas never appears on the Saturday games for BT for whatever reason and is instead on BT Score - especially as he does lots of CL and Europa League for them.
Also while this wasn't on TV and all, not exactly sure
this video is Rio Ferdinand's finest hour.
To end on a positive note, a pretty good line-up on PL Tonight.
