Watford vs Palace looked not the best pick but now a huge story, funny how these picks happen to work. Be interesting to see if Sky could get Pardew on as a play by play on the gridiron.

I'm watching SSN right now and a clip from the 10am slot is a competition of who can wrap a Sky Sports football the quickest between Paul Merson and Steve Howey. I kid you not

Believe In Better.

Though you miss out the crucial detail that Stuart Pearce and Danny Higginbotham were judging said competition.

I didn't post the last detail as I couldn't work out who Higginbotham was!

Those judges had it easy though

If you were that concerned about clogging the forum, you would have told me that via PM or email yourself.

I didn't want to post a message like that but I didn't think I had a choice. It didn't even occur to me to try the email link but most people have that feature turned off. It must have given you great delight when you clicked on his profile to see that it was enabled.

I just hope people can find it in their hearts to forgive me for this terrible, terrible crime.
Jaysus, I even included smilies to show I wasn't being overly-serious - in other words it was quite obvious I wasn't "that concerned"...

As you've launched an attack, well then, yes, of course you had a choice.

Happy Xmas to you anyway

I've seen enough (too much) of SSN to be able to tell who most of the talking heads are on there at this point.

Yep wasn't the toughest decision. That said after the way this year has gone, it's probably for the best that the experts to decide rather the public.

I don't understand what you mean by this.

I was talking about having no choice in terms of if someone's inbox is full, and you can't contact them - then what else can you do but post a public message like that? (other than sending them an email ). I'm not saying that I had no choice but to tell you and everyone else exactly what I thought of your post. If that was supposed to be a winking smiley by the way, then the winking eye was obscured by the Santa hat.

I sense that you and I are not on the same wavelength...

Merry Christmas

For those wondering, Stuart Pearce, Steve Howey & Danny Higginbotham were the guests on PL Daily today.

I didn't wink at you, I'm not that way inclined

Anyway, as it happens there are forum guidelines against posting off-topic messages of a private nature but I feel all of this is bothering you more than it ever bothered me

SSN SD HD not 4K HQ @ 10 update makes me sure not want to see the segments today! Soccer Saturday Xmas special budget wiped out and 1% transferred to the Rob Wotton rap contest it seems!

Lots of frivolous posts on this thread today, lets try and keep on topic

For the record, Paul Merson was announced as the winner of the football wrapping competition.

Thanks.

I've just seen a clip of Stuart Pearce saying "They'll be delighted, if I were them, I'd drive him there." That was on Oscar's transfer to China

You're probably aware but this is actually the equivalent of our Community Shield ie a friendly as opposed to a cup game, and is very regularly played in different places around the world

And with the Italian league on a break this year's timing and location makes some sense.

Wrong word to do a typo on. I don't want to even imagine Rob Wotton rapping.

Should've used spoiler tags.
Imagine all those posters who were planning on watching the contest later.

As much as we've taken the piss if you can't have some fun on a sports news channel at 10am the Friday before Christmas when can you?

I get it was all a bit of fun, I found it funny in a sad way

It's just not what I expect from SSN as I've not seen this show much, it was more Soccer AM!

Ian Crocker as you would expect is on the game tomorrow

On the subject of Premier League Daily.

There best show seems to be on a Monday, when they go through the Weekends goals, and the issues. And they have Dermot Gallagher going through the weekends talking points, red cards and yellow cards and the likes
