No surprise he's trending on Twitter. Going to have to put up with him as well tomorrow on BT Sport. (He's listed as a pundit on the FA Cup Tonight EPG)

I see no point in chucking Trevor Sinclair pitchside just to get some additional thoughts pre-match and at half time, he should contribute to commentary a bit to give him some actual use. It's the sort of issue I have with the BBC when they get to this stage of the competition. They might as well get a couple of special guests from both clubs rather than all of them being ex West Ham players/managers and saying very little.

We talk about the BT having issues with co-commentators yet the BBC are no different either. Keown gives me a right bloody headache as Number 1 and should be nowhere near a commentary box while I just get bored when Murphy is around and is very average, he is so much better as a pundit. Lawrenson is well overdue as well and they need to promote Kilbane & Jenas higher up.

The only two FA Cup games at 3pm on the live streaming website are:

Rochdale AFC vs Barrow AFC
Wimbledon vs Sutton United

Is this correct?

Yes. They are the only 3pm broadcasts available anywhere on the planet...

It seems like he is going to hotfoot it to Preston after this match to host the other tie at 5:30pm today with Arsenal. It's under an hour drive from Manchester to Preston so this weekend has worked well for Jake.

Indeed this pitchside pundit role always feels a bit pointless to me. I don't mind it the way that say BT do it where they have the co-commentator appear pitchside pre-match as at least the person then has some other use.
However using someone just as a pitchside pundit the way the BBC does just seems wasteful. They don't really add anything that the boys in the studio couldn't and I don't really understand why if there are 3 pundits in the studio we need others pitchside to repeat exactly what those in the studio have said.

On co-commentators, as you say BT get the brunt of the criticism but I do think that's due to the number of games they show compared to BBC and ITV more than anything.
Keown and Murphy are both awful as a top two and ITV's top two of Hoddle and Townsend are atrocious.

To be fair to the BBC, I do like Kilbane on commentary but to be honest he's below others in the pecking order and while Jenas does show potential, his TV commentaries have been more on BT than BBC.

Tough to tell with the BBC as with the FA Cup nearly everyone gets a run-out on commentary.

And while Keown did get England games and the FA Cup Final, Murphy got the Euro 2016 Final so I'm not sure it's clear cut if there is a Number 1.
