I don't particularly mind Hargreaves on comms actually now that I'm used to him. But one other thing many seem to notice is his frequent use of hyperbole 'he's an outstanding player,' 'unbelievable technically' etc.

The one I always notice on his commentaries is 'extraordinary'. That said maybe that's just me noticing and we probably notice commentators using certain phrases or words a lot more than they do.
The absolute worst example of repetition for me is without doubt Ray Wilkins on Spurs/RM a few years ago. 'Stay on your feet'

He can be a tad repetitive.
Have to say I've only tuned in late into the match but have to say what I heard was decent enough from him and Fletcher - and he does normally seem to get better and less repetitive the longer a match goes I've found.
Like Jonny I don't mind on co-commentary and there are other co-commentators I dread far more.
That said I'd prefer BT to use him in the studio a bit more - has he actually popped up covering an English side in the studio yet this season?
Did like Jake mixing up his metaphors post-match - 'Jose Mourinho's face tells a picture'. That said all presenters do that sort of thing from time to time.
