Darren Fletcher confirming on Twitter that he is doing Celtic V Man City.

A bit of a shame it's not Rae calling the game but considering it's the biggest game of the week's CL fixtures it's no surprise Fletcher got it. Hopefully Derek Rae will be back on calling Celtic V Borussia Monchengladbach.

Also just a thought... Considering Jermaine Jenas is going to be a regular Spurs pundit on the CL games I wonder if he will get a co-commentary appearance on the North London Derby with 'Fletch'? Quick... Get the 'Fletch Chart' out!!

Now if this was BT.................blimey new thread!!
I can imagine the 100 in-game promotions across BT's live coverage.

Did you know BT once did a show about the Crazy Gang?

Radio 5 aren't mentioning it either!
Goodness knows how anybody would know when it's taking place

Hardly the same when BT have about 3 segments per half, some of which are promoting games that are weeks away. For instance, 'Fletch' mentioned Arsenal vs. Chelsea as being on BT during Hull vs. Man United back in August!

Just watching the BT Sport Scraps...I mean Score, and my goodness Jenas apart I hope this is where the rest of the personnel stay from now on. Arry Redknapp looks like he's slipping into a coma, David James is potentially the biggest talker of crap of any paid pundit, Savage is Savage and Paul Ince is personality-less. Sutton is passable as I quite like his cocky, no nonsense approach. I do think it is quite amusing television, if embarrassing on BT's part.

Really is an awful commentary so far, Hoddle sounds like he is about to run out of the commentary box in disgust at Chelsea's performance, Mcnanaman almost sounds as if is going to yell at every opportunity and Fletcher using every possible minute to promote BT
And sorry BGFArmy he really dosnt shut up or at least give a chance for the pictures to do the talking.

At least the penny has finally dropped for some, in relation to the 100mph commentaries from "Fletch"!!!!

Agree with your comments, awful commentary on the late PL match today.

Jonathan Pearce giving it that old "Premier league only really competitive league in wi
world" when talking about City's run..

Some truth maybe but MC at their best will easily win the league like Bayern and Barca have done..

I always think it's a bit of a shame when a broadcaster's Scottish commentator is sidelined when an English team (or England themselves) come to town. So Rae getting Arsenal and Real Madrid is a pleasant surprise.

I wonder if Sky would have done the same with Ian Crocker?

Im pretty sure if this was last season Rae would of got the game but as Fletcher is getting ALL the big games it really was no surprise and as for Crocker it wouldn't of surprised me if Martin Tyler stepped in as well if it had been on Sky.

But like you say Rae has come out of it pretty well.
