Marnie seems to think she has a lot going for her, nice t*ts, average face, chunky body and an iq of 80. Dumb twit.

Saira demonstrates the control freak nature of a true bully - not the playground one-off stuff Marnie did. I'm talking the kind of long-duration, drip, drip on people and situations she doesn't like until they crack.

From the start of that episode Saira is staring at Marnie and comes out with "what did you do this morning?.. I did my workout and tidied" so begins her way into criticise Marnie. Even at the dinner table - where Saira basically creates the "truth or dare" clique Marnie doesn't have a dog in the fight until Saira brings her in "I think I upset you this morning" Sair is goading, letting Marnie go, bringing her back like a cat with a mouse. Bear is openly opposing Saira, Heavy D is critical and calls Saira's subliminal verbal bullying for what it is. But oh no, Saira clearly dislikes Marnie and is working on her to crack.
When Saira is in the bed and Marnie plays diplomat, Saira is dismissive and Marnie is right to call Saira out for her bringing up her being different on drink. Drip, drip, drip into Marnie's head.
Even at the last point Saira is passive aggressive to Marnie's initial fake apology "Why are you saying sorry again?" A cold comment. It is at this point when Marnie IS drunk and follows through with the bet and is dismissed one last time that she disgusts all around plus viewers with a "**** you!" to Saira that goes wrong.

Marnie did wrong but Saira absolutely created it and she knows it. In one day she made Marnie feel the exact same way she felt about Marnie.

Point is, I work in a call centre - I'd take Marnie as a supervisor any day of the week over Saira. Marnie might put me in hospital with liver failure from too many nights out but Saira would put me in a mental health ward or the grave.”

Good post.

Mostly projection and fan-fiction based on what you think Saira is thinking. Wouldn't hold up on Judge Judy.
The swinging boobies would however as that's an actual factual occurrence.

It can't be 'justified' as no one deserves to be on the end of that sort of crass insult.

But it can be a bit understood. That understanding doesn't excuse or justify it.

Very good post.
Sadly I think many will choose to ignore it, so they can continue to place the blame fully on Marnie.

They don't represent your generation. They're a biased sample representing a subset of your generation. Probably every generation.

Nah, I just think she's eager to please and thinks this is what her fans want. A desperate wannabe doing what she thinks needs to be done for attention. Probably drunk too. I also think she'd be mortified and regretful if it was pointed out how badly she behaved to a person against their will. Bear was the one full of malice in that stunt.

I'll be honest, im not a fan of these Geordie Shore/TOWIE/Reality 'stars' at all & I dont even really class them as celebritys. However, when I first heard Marnie was going in, even though I dont know her & never seen her before (only know her name & know shes from Geordie Shore) I thought, nope, im not going to judge or make assumptions. She may have a bit of a reputation in the press but give the girl a chance, just because shes on/been on GS does not mean I should jump to conclusions & presume that she has no class or morals (or wets & poos the bed). Then this happened on last nights show, absolutely disgusting, disrespectful & classless, the girl is horrid. Really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt & tried to ignore her other vulgar comments putting it down to the fact she had had a few drinks. I was really hoping she would show that not all the GS 'stars' are the same but no, vulgar cheap tart, like the rest of the GS lot & that whole performance was gross.

Another one ive tried hard not to judge is Bear but once again, he is showing what a complete a hole he is. Mark my words, Bear is going to be trouble, he is a vile person & its only a matter of time till we see the full extent of that.

That's what the big brother producers hired. She's playing her part.

Kudos to James for having the balls to say something too, whilst the rest sat silent lest they become a target themselves.

That's the thing. That's what she is. That's what big brother hired. She's playing her part. And big brother get people emotionally involved and talking about the show. If anyone should be criticised it's the big brother producers for being so unimaginative and basic.

Bear was thinking maliciously. I doubt Marnie was. She's been conditioned to behave a certain way on tv. She knows no different. It's what's expected of her.

I guess that depends on whether women find Mens' chests sexually attractive. Boobs are something men find sexually attractive. Teenage boys obsess about seeing boobs.

I'd suggest most men would support the idea of women having their breasts uncovered.

Absolutely this. Marnie did something pretty dumb but she was provoked into doing it.

Presumably yes, or the ladies would be no keener to see the 'fit' chaps in there take their shirts off than they would roll their sleeves up or show an ankle. If to a different & lesser degree, arguably. That said I do follow ClassicGarfield's line of thinking here & concur.. kinda.
