Jimi and Flavia are the Strictly love story for me (I'm not including Janette and Aljaz as they got together before joining Strictly).

Definitely Jimi and Flavia for me as well Ochre. A real romance which they've successfully kept as private as possible (other than Flavia tweeting photos of her lunch box which Jimi makes for her each day - super cute

I should think they're pretty hacked off! I don't have a problem with any of them individually but the producers constant pushing/promoting of them is irritating.

I can see from a pro point of view, it's a tricky one because obviously you want to show your fans that you are grateful for their support. I found Kristina's re-tweeting of the ghastly Strictly Girls' tweets really maddening because that account tweeted some horrible messages to Ben's ex wife. But, again, they are probably her biggest supporters so I suppose she was between a rock and a hard place.

I honestly don't think Natalie cares. She seems to have her own life what with her tour and fitsteps business. Anton is pushed by TPTB as much as the Cliftons if not more. Brendan lives his own life and Pasha has his errm dedicated fanbase. Monkseal looking at you!

Hi Lou, I'm sure Janette will have retweeted it purely because she liked the concept and the picture, if all the pros had been in the picture I'm sure she would've done the same!

Is it a clique really ?
It seems just like a natural friendship to me - they were all on tour as well as doing Strictly meaning they spent about 8 months together dancing !
These six also happen to be the three dancing partnerships that perform together outside of Strictly - and all appear to get on very well.
They also choose to spend a lot of their down time together too,

I agree that the "non Cliftons" seem to have other enterprises going on and aren't quite so reliant on Strictly for their bread and butter as it were. I've never watched DWTS - is it even worse for cliques there?

This article is so lazy and out of date. Today's date across the top, but most of it dating from 2014 by the looks of it, with a few new pieces added on.
For example it mentions Katherine Jenkins and her "fiancé", not husband. According to this, Karen and Kevin are engaged, and while it mentions Joe and Kristina, what about Ben? No mention of him, despite him and K recently having a child together.

I think for some people who weren't huge G and G fans, it's a bit hard to see it as romantic that they fell for each other on the show when one of them had a boyfriend in the audience every week giving standing ovations and being called her supportive rock etc. It's nice that they're happy together now, but it's hardly Mills & Boon.
