Seriously do people do this?

Sharon just did it at Ian's in EE and the Todd just walks into the Platts on Corrie five mins later!

guess it explains why London and Manchester have high crime rates

If a bulging eyed crazy woman came blundering into my house like that she'd soon regret it. I'd have no choice but to defend myself, my family, and my property. Luckily I keep a crowbar in every room just in case.

She wouldn't even bulge her eyes into the front room to say something pathetic and breathy before she feels her kneecaps shatter into a thousand pieces, and several more blows to the ribcage to prevent her supporting her own weight enough to attempt an escape.

An appropriate and incapacitating level of damage to neutralise the threat to me and my family before the police arrive and haul her away.

What do they expect if they can't take the smallest precaution

After my mother passed away one of her friends used to do this all the time. Displayed a contempt and lack of respect imho

I think if you are good friends with whoever's house it is then it is okay but you should give a little knock before you do it IMO.

I only do it if the person is expecting me, as the occupant(s) could be starkers after having a shower or something. Or they could be having sex. You just don't know.

People normally use the door in the Kitchen at the Beales. Their front one has a Yale lock on it that you can't just open from the outside IIRC.

Sharon doesn't worry about privacy. Remember when she read Bobby's email?

Indeed, a tactless and classless woman through and through who has once again taken to scrounging off of her ex husband because she lost all her own money through her own stupidity.

I don't know when I pop round my best friend's house.

One time I bothered to knock at my brother's house and I'm really glad I did. He had recently move into a house only a street over from me and I popped around for a chat. I decided to knock first, only to be met with a complete stranger, telling me I'd got the wrong house. Considering the front door led straight into the living room, where his family were all sat, I'm glad I didn't just walk in and plop myself down on t'sofa

My friend walked into my house and used my downstairs loo, before I even noticed she was here last week. Scared the life out of me.

Depends on the area. Always been custom to knock before doing it to give them a chance to pull their pants up if they need to do so.

Family member lives in a high rise flat your not meant to get in without buzzing. We're a bit surprised to find I'd just let myself into his flat where he'd left it open one day. Always knock now.

Often people walk in and then ask, 'Can I come in'.

I got a freind who used to do that, in fact she had a key and used to let herself in without even knocking, I had to take the key off her
