im bisexual and this is a typical example of gay people discriminating against bisexuals the opressed always seem to become opressors. we bisexual people have it harder than gays as nobody wants to date us.

He's talking about gays pretending they're bisexual. He wasn't being negative

Disgraceful comments, but not uncommon sadly. A lot of gay people have a chip on their shoulder regarding bisexuals.

I wonder what his friend San Fox has to say about that

That actually upset me

I'm Bi because I am attracted to men and women. Not because it's trendy or I want to 'try' it or because I can't admit to being gay - I fancy men so I can't be gay. I fancy women so I can't be straight.

So Biggins, Renee and their ignorance can f*ck right off.

If anyone made a negative comment about gay people, Biggins would be horrified. Awful comment, but one I have heard expressed by a lot of people.

As a woman I'm bi and certainly have no desire to be a full time gay but I suspect he was talking about male bisexuals who sometimes use it as a stepping stone before coming out fully.

he was being extremely negative. Who in their right mind would say something like that? 'the bisexuals are the worst' pick a team etc...

What a shame I was starting to like the Mob Wives girl after she said that.

He shouldn't have said that comment at all and it totally isnt true. However I have known of people who have come out as bisexual first and then later gay as they felt uncomfortable saying they were out and out homosexual. I think from Biggins era this would have been quite common. However what he shouldn't have done is made a presumption on the whole bisexual community based on this

That was truly shocking. So sad to hear a Gay person put down somebody else's sexuality. I'm gay and have no idea what it must be like to be bisexual but to say it is not real is terrible.

who becomes gay to be trendy, isn't it easier to buy a trendy pair of trainers?

As a "real" bisexual I can tell you "picking a side" would be denying who I am. Kinda goes against the idea that sexuality is not a choice.

Odd comments from Biggins and Renee.

Of course it was negative. He said all bisexuals are gay and don't want to admit it. It's incredibly offensive. It's awful to see someone of a minority group being prejudiced against another minority group.

Im gay and strongly disagree with Biggins and Renees views on bisexuality, so please don't think Biggins speaks for all. Im amazed in this day and age some people still can't understand that bisexuals are actually real.

I might have misunderstood, but I think he was saying that's what all bisexual people were doing. No?

He is an odious gobshite and I'm not at all surprised he holds this ignorant, baseless opinion. There are far too many people of his era, homosexual and heterosexual, that denigrate bisexuality as if can't possibly exist. Biggins being homosexual himself makes little difference and offers him, in this case, no insight. But I think that has more to do with him being an absolute fool.

In his defence, you don't tend to meet a lot of old bisexual people most people tend to find someone and settle down, and then get labeled straight or gay depending on who they settle down with
