Well, he's 31 years older, so "old enough to be her grandfather" is a bit of a push, but what's the problem with that anyway? Specifically, what is so 'pervy' about it? It's my understanding that perverts are something else entirely. Perhaps if she hadn't been flirting with him and showing an interest you could accuse him of being 'pervy', but all he has done is reciprocate.
