This may already have been discussed on one of the main ED threads, but I was wondering if others are speculating that Tracey and Vanessa are going to turn out to be half-sisters?

We know that their dad(s) is/are in prison. Vanessa mentioned that fact again a couple of weeks ago. They've been having some conflict recently, and have a food fight next week in the very same week Tracey's dad is unexpectedly being released from prison. Will Frank turn out to be both Tracey and Vanessa's father?

It seems pretty plausible, doesn't it? Vanessa finds Tracey to be an irresponsible money-grabbing moron. It would just be her luck to turn out to be related to her!

When they were interviewed at the BSA's earlier in the year, they said that there would be a storyline about August time that would link the two characters together, so I think that yes, they will turn out to be half sisters.

Yes but we thought Jim Fenner was going to turn out to be Vanessa's dad cos of his link to bob and Harriet but Traceys dad has been cast as someone else.

It also looked like bob and Harriet were gonna have an affair but I guess not!

I would rather they had seperate dads but connected somehow. Its way too contrived that they would turn out to be sisters after they lived together

Yes, James Gaddas, who played Bob's cellmate/tormentor (who I also thought would have been Vanessa's dad, but turned out not to be) played Neil the prison wing governer in Bad Girls.

I don't think so, its a soapy twist and it will give two characters family ties who have no real connection to the show.

This. So much overload on her stories coming up. I don't mind too much when Tracy is just hanging around as a supporting character, but Im already bored of her being a main feature and dreading it being even moreso once her father gets involved and Vanessa if this is true.

I read in a In TVs Times is said Michael Pared has been cast as the Father of both Vanessa Woodfield and Tracy Shankly and they find out they are half sisters after that both visit him In hospital don't know how true it is

Tracey has nil acting ability, she just stands around with her mouth open. I hope Vanessa is not paired with her as Vanessa can act and she would have to carry the scenes.

Tracy isn't as bad as she was when she first showed up.

Since bringing her back they have toned her down. I agree that she works best as a supporting character though. I don't see her as a main player.
