I think its this strange American influence we have over us, there are loads of films and tv shows over there made that just simply go too far with taste, and cause its allowed over there we don't seem to think maybe this isn't right for us.

Is there any depths to which tv producers won't sink?”

Hmmmmm I'm pretty sure it's been glorified for years! Goodfellas. Donnie Brasco. The Godfather1,2 and 3.....so many more.....

Like it or not, people are fascinated by the Mafia. She is on a tv show, which is very similar to the other Housewives shows about rich and largely horrendous characters. We the viewers can make our own minds up whether she has no moral compass but a heart of gold.......or a woman who is so insecure that she pays to have what looks like half a pig attached to her nether regions. She didn't murder anyone, did she?

You speak as if BB is some sort of benign thing which people just happen to appear on.
Some of us are more questionable about the morality of the people making the show rather than Renee herself.
Renee has made her own life choices, for better or for worse, but BB is responsible for who they want to present as celebrities to us. Their morality is in question when it comes to deciding who they choose to put into the house.

Why not compare it as an example?
Imagine when Maxine Carr is released from prison and appears as a celebrity on CBB 67 or whatever it will be at that point. How would you feel?
She wasn't directly responsible for the horrific action itself, but she was an enabler and protector of Ian Huntley.

The argument would be that they are fictional stories, or biopics, which does feed a lurid interest within people.
So I think it would be fair for the public to question their own tastes.
I'm serious. We seem to have something in us which draws us to some pretty unpleasant stuff. Just because we might like it doesn't mean that perhaps it's not a good thing that we do. And I say this as someone who enjoys a good gangster film.

But....now we're talking about the actual real life people involved and putting them on pedestals, not just actors in films.
We are now seeing somebody from that background as an actual celebrity. Think about how screwed up that actually is.
You can take Renee out of the picture as it's less about her, and more about TV companies and us as consumers of this sort of thing to satiate our appetite for it.

It's not about judging Renee's moral compass, it's about judging BB's moral compass.

Infidelity is not great, but you'd need to know every single aspect of a marriage and each dynamic to make any kind of moral judgement on it. There's an argument that monogamy is unnatural for most and impossible for many.

Prostitution's a little more murky, obviously, given links with people trafficking and the reasons that SOME women/men turn to it; out of desperation.

However, families who make a living out of murdering people and refusing to co-operate with the relevant authorities; all for the sake of the filthy lucre - is beyond repugnant.

America's social moral compass always fascinates me. They can create a well-received TV show about this but the whole place goes into meltdown if a nipple is seen on primetime network television. Go figure, as they would say themselves.”

if you can't see the difference between an actor like Al Pacino and Renee Graziano then you aren't paying attention

I was not comparing prostitution to murder. I was pointing out that they have had criminals on BB before.

Having said that, many prostitution rings involve sex trafficking and that is as morally repugnant to me as murder. It's not all lovable whores being prostitutes for the fun of it. A lot of lives are lost when it comes to prostitution rackets.
