NEXT inconsistent sizing
Hi
I've always struggled to find well fitting jeans, then finally last year I discovered the perfect fit in NEXT: 32R, Straight, stretch denim. So I snapped up a few in various colours. Yesterday I headed to NEXT to restock on the same size jeans again. Obviously I didn't try them on as they were listed identically to last years jeans (32R Straight cut stretch denim). To my suprise the leg on the 3 pairs I purchased were 5cm longer than last years jeans of the same listed size. I phoned NEXT twice and each time they told me the jeans from last year are discontinued and that the new ones are just a different cut. This has thrown me as I thought straight cut was Straight cut. I wish I had purchased 6 pair last year now, because 2016's 32R Straight stretch denim is 5cm longer than 2015's 32R Straight stretch denim. Does NEXT think our legs grew longer? Back to ill fitting jeans for me

I find next clothes sizing horrible too and not just the length of jeans/trousers. I've tried on tops in there that have been size 6 and it was still massive on me. I have relaxed skinny jeans in size 8 that fit perfectly but find there normally skinny jeans it would take around a size 12 to fit correctly.
I find in most shops the trousers and jeans are too long. At 5'3" - 5'4" i would guess i was average height, but find regular jeans / trousers are always to long and need turned up. Thank for ankle grazers and skinny type jeans where you can get away with just turning them up on the outside. |

They just end up looking like they are turned up simply because they were too long for me rather than it being a style thing. |

I once ordered some jeans from Next Online. When they arrived the left leg was 4 inches shorter than the right. I returned them in store and ordered another pair online (no stock in store) The second pair came and it too was 4 inches shorter in the left leg. Returned them to store again and found their new stock had arrived. Tried to swap them but the entire stock had 4 inches cut off the left leg. Terrible quality control. I gave up!

This thread has saved my sanity!!
Next do my head in!! I have brought the same jeans a few weeks apart only to find them completely different lengths. Used to buy loads of jeans from next for work bit now down to about 5 pair as I just can't find any that fit - I am a pretty standard 32 /32. |

Sorry NEXT, but I think you've been rumbled.
Better luck next year. |

Glad it's not just me, I've just received an order from NEXT containing 3 pairs of jeans, all 36L yet all different sizes.
One pair I can get away with, they're about 1" too long, the others are 4" and 5" too long! Rubbish |

I buy all my jeans from Next and have done for the last 5 years. I do not have to try them on as they always fit beautifully. Speaking as I find, I never go anywhere else for jeans or trousers
