Selling Sissoko for £30m is a great bit of business for Newcastle.

Good money for Sissoko if it goes through. It's been a very good window for Newcastle. I think Rafa has invested in the right areas but time will tell

As good a window as I've known for a long time.
Rafa gave a good interview to the website this morning discussing the transfer window, Sissoko and other things. Get the feeling he really wants to build singing good here. "We're not a stepping stone we're Newcastle United"

Here is the list of free agents clubs can still sign . I wonder if Adebayor would fit in well as cover for Dwight Gayle . I also would maybe resign Enrique . Klose would be a great signing but his wages are probably astronomical |

Very good 2-0 win away at Derby County and we're now in second place (on goal difference) in the table.
Our next game is QPR (away) on Tuesday. |

Guys, I was at Deepdale today, and all I can say is Wow!! What a finish! Adam Armstrong, why on earth did you let him out on loan to us!? Natural premier league quality.

Great game yesterday against Derby. I thought we'd slip up but thankfully the 3 points came through!
Professional Newcastle Proving their Worth Next few games will be tough in my opinion. I'd be happy with a draw in the 2 games away. Not too fussed about the League Cup. Hope it's a young team that plays and Murphy gets a game. |

Great day yesterday. The Rafalution continues. But QPR will be another tough game and I can't wait! ![]() Quote:
When I looked at this loan, I didn't understand either, as he was only at Newcastle for maybe 1 or 2 games. Didn't seem to give him any chance of playing. Newcastle is lacking a top goal scorer, and why not have him gain more experience on field at Newcastle?
All sounds like a money deal to me. I don't understand what you mean by that but let's look at it from the clubs point of view. We see him as a top prospect for the future. But there are still a number of players above him in the pecking order. The club have done the right thing in giving him a new contract and therfore a hope of breaking into the first team long term and then letting him go out and continue his development, with another club in the championship, a level up from Coventry last year, where hopefuilly he'll score more goals like he did yesterday. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Harry Kane spend time away at other clubs before breaking into Tottenham's first team? He needs this time to continue his development. He'll get there, |

6-0 win.
![]() ![]() Fantastic result, I can't remember the last time we scored 6 goals away from home and we're now in second place in the table 1 point of the top with a goal difference of +12. Our goals were from Shelvey (2), Perez, Clark, Mitrovic and Hanley. Wolves next at home on Saturday. |

Must have been mid 1990s for six away goals in the league, can't think of one off hand though... Possibly even as far back as promotion season 92/93....

Excellent 6pts from the last two away games. Great boost in confidence by keeping the clean sheets and scoring 6 tonight.
Hope Rafa can keep this rolling
