On the contrary, spitting in someone's food is much worse.

It's a sackable offence too.

Hmm, spitting in someone's face is a violent act of aggression towards someone. In this case, I feel like Aubrey really meant it as a prank.

Damn right, if someone spits in your face you know they've done it

Spitting in someones food is an indirect transfer of bodily fluids, Bear could catch something. Its all fun and games till someone gets hurt. That isn't "banter" or a "joke".

Don't think Bear has any fans on here.

Why are you turning it into a fan war? I haven't been on the forum much at all but feel that what Aubrey did was below the belt and very calculated whatever the heck feeble excuse she says to try and cover herself. I also happen to think Bear is a total a....ole, but he didn't deserve that.

Had they have kissed they would have exchanged the same amount of saliva, Bear is lucky at least he got a sandwich & drink

Most people sharing saliva usually choose and agree whom they share it with.

sorry, but how on EARTH is it the same?? had she spat in his face, there would have been sod all anyone could of done about it, as the spit would reach his face within a split second, however she spat in his food all on camera being watch by god knows how many in the production team (unless they were comatosed) said production team then allowed the food to be taken to him, and then allowed him to eat it. its absolutely right she was not removed, if she was removed then the show may aswell be removed aswell as she was only PART of the incident!

What's he going to catch? Has she got HIV? Hepatitis? A cold?

Lewis and Marnie should be removed too, they've swapped spit.

In the face or on food the act is one which is done to humbliate the person, spitting has always been a lowest of the low thing to do.

Yeah to be honest I never got everyone's revulsion to saliva when plenty of us have likely kissed people we didn't even know that well.

I remember hearing a story from a flight attendant that said to always be nice to cabin crew because they handle your food and drink. Just 'food' for though.

Both are disgusting but if I had to choose I'd rather have my face spat on than unknowingly consume someone's saliva.

Spitting in someones food that they then eat, is worse than in someones face and a lot more dangerous.

I can't believe what I saw tonight! I can't stand Bear but spitting in his food and drink is so disgusting! How could they let him consume it?!! They should have called Aubrey to the diary room and removed her immediately, I can't believe they all seem to be treating it so casually!

Its funny that he can treat everyone in the most horrific way for 3 days but a bit of saliva in his sandwich is a whole other level. I'm not saying you're wrong just that society always puts certain action spitting/physical violence as being worse than verbal attacks even if verbal attacks are longer and more sustained.
