They saw Aubrey spit in the food and drink straight away so why did they not stop Bear from eating the food and drinking the drink straight away before he had it ???

Interesting legal risk they took though.

Who's "they"? BB or the housemates in the kitchen who watched her do it?

Edit: Ah, you've made the thread title clearer.

How can they ever talk about 'health and safety' again, after that ?

I love the image of security just bursting through the fire exit, running through the house and then into the garden just to slap that sandwich out of his hand before he raises it to his mouth.

Playing devil's advocate: BB might claim they didn't see the incident when it happened but were alerted to it when Aubrey spoke about it later...whereupon they checked the footage.

They could have just called Aubrey to the diary room or even Bear to stop him eating the food and drinking the drink .

He's whole speech to Heavy about 'you must have really done something to someone to make them do that' in regards to his bed has come back to bite Bear now.

If i was on the production team i wouldn't have stopped him eating or drinking spit. I may be a bit nasty but he deserves everyting thrown at him or spat at him. Bet they loved watching him slug the whole drink down

Disgraceful and if there aren't broadcasting regulations to prevent this kind of behaviour being allowed or broadcast then there should be.Shameful.

Likewise,Bear's disgusting anecdote about oral sex the other night was well below acceptable standards...who on earth wants to hear that and even if some sickos do, the programme makers have a responsibility to hold to a certain standard of what should be shown.

Censorship is one thing but sound judgment is just as important for programme makers

My memory's a bit hazy. Did Science eat that scab in BB6 or not?

That would have been quite entertaining, I'd have enjoyed that

Nobody, even an a___hole like him, deserves that.

BB are on really shaky ground here. Let's just say, if the positions were reversed, and Bear had spat in the food and drink of one of the American housemates (and I'm thinking, especially Renee) and BB had just sat back and let them consume it, they would have a massive lawsuit on their hands.

Cos they had to rewind the tapes I would have thought.

Wierd things like this make you query just how blurred the line is between depicted reality and true reality on BB. Like maybe they did intervene for the sake of h&s but let the story develop as if they didnt.
