It just didn't 'flow' or even make sense half the time

A botched editing job for sure

That's what you get when you string a load of youtube clips with no real beginning or end together and try to pass it off as a tv show.

I agree, they just wanted to throw in all the controversial moments and didn't care how it looked!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who felt something was a miss with tonight's episode....didn't gel right at all

Totally, and boy didn't we need sub-titles all round. What's the point of BB showing a row if we can't understand what is being said ..

You do realise that people with similar IQs to the likes of Bear and Heavy D produce this show. Endemol used to employ university graduates and people that were well qualified to use editing equipment etc. Now it is made by people with the same outlook and mentality as the more dumber housemates.

I've been watching BB since series one, I've never seen them edit things like this, I.E. in a non-linear way.
Tonight we saw the warning first then the offence in flashback. {they have occasionally shown flashbacks if something sparked a day pr two later in relation to an event but never the same day before.}

But I have a theory.
I think the spitting was so revolting and unacceptable that they needed to demonstrate their OWN action, in reprimanding her, first.
They show the warning then show the offence. It is a way of appeasing the general public, if you follow me.

Had they shown it in a linear fashion the audience would have gone potty.

Part of my theory is also that they didn't see it or stop it happening at the time, so needed to demonstrate FIRST to us, the audience, that they 'dealt' with it.

I think that's a good theory, but BB has shown things out of sequence before, even if not in precisely that way. They didn't in the C5 days, but since then ...

I did like the flashback which reveal just what a liar Renee was.

It was weird how they chose not to show it in sequence. I can only think it was to distance themselves from any responsibility in allowing it to happen. Like people would think they only found out after the event if they present it to the viewer the way they did. Or it wasn't the food/drink bear consumed, and there'd be an obvious continuity error if shown in sequence.

I'm not quite sure why i needed to see Bear eating a sandwich twice (once before we knew and once after we knew about the spitting)

Still, i suppose that amount of time wasting prevents us watching the older, less insane, housemates

I'm glad it's not just me, i'm really not understanding more than half of what's being said, think this is the first series i've struggled, so it's not just that it's the strong Southern accents.

No it's not, I live in London and can't understand a word of what Bear says and he's from here too. You are not alone, no North/South divide over comprehension problems with a few of the HMs.
