Asking the women if they'd "wipe his bum".

How old is this man supposed to be? Seriously the collective mental age of the men in that house must be hovering around 10 years old.

The only reasonable men in there are James and Ricky.

I find him to be a quite repulsive old man. Never bought into his nice guy act either.

He was joking. I would have thought it obvious that he was having a satirical pop at the boom guy.

Nope, he was joining in due to a shared mental age.

Posters here can be very literal minded if it helps them have a dig at an unfavoured housemate.

I agree, he thought his merry laugh would settle the issue, instead it made him look as infantile and stupid as the worst of them.

And likewise, when a housemate is liked they can do no wrong it the eyes of their supporters.

He is pretty revolting, not necessarily just because of that mildly disgusting comment.

Yes it may have been childish and misplaced, but he was definitely joking.

He's not 70 either.

He clearly wasn't, he was joining in with the juvenile japes. He's like the little wimpy rat at school who gets in a few kicks when the bullies have their victims subdued.

I got the distinct impression he was actually having a pop at Heavy D... He didn't insist they actually do it, unlike nasty boy who was revelling making Chloe uncomfortable

He was joking. He was sympathising with Saira over what she was having to do and making a dig at Boom. It couldn't have been more obvious, which is why they all laughed.

He didn't have to insist, he was adding to the discomfort already caused by Heavy D. Like the sort of person who hurls a few extra insults to the kid who just got beaten up at school from a safe distance.

I thought it was funny!
It was a tongue in cheek joke (sorry for the imagery) at Colin's expense.
