Well it's meaningless anyway. Just a childish way of trying to look like shes telling the truth. Usually said by people with little intelligence.

Renee said that she would have told Bear that Aubrey had spat in his drink and yet she told Aubrey that she wouldn't tell him.

Bear was upset with Renee that she didn't tell him that Aubrey had spat in his food and drink.
Renee swore on her childs life (not a pleasant thing to do whatever the circumstances) that she was going to tell him about it. We do not know if she would have eventually told him about it or not.
