I seriously think BB have done a deal with Bear to limit the damage.
The reason they haven't shown the footage of him being told is

1) he would not have taken it calm at all

2) I think they have offered him money (or a deal) if he doesn't sue them once leaving big brother and told him he has to remain calm for this to happen, so it all blows over for them.

3) what possible reason wouldn't they show him being told other than for damage limitation? They show everything else

4) Bear looks like he is ready to explode but trying to hold it in. After initially taking it well when Aubrey apologised he then told everyone in the garden but looks livid. Something is making him hold it together and I'm guessing it's money.

it did feel like that diary room scene with Bear being told was cut to after he had calmed down , so somthing went on to make him calmer , could have been a deal who knows - cos he came out fuming albeit not all arms flailing , as would most people if u found out someone did that to you ,
whats more worrying is why he was allowed to eat and drink , and why Aubrey wasn't pulled up there and then when she did it

It was said he was told off camera and he was then asked how he now felt to which he said okay but he when went outside with his clique and asked them how they would feel if someone did that he then said it happened to him because Aubrey did it. If I remember right, CBB did say they had asked medics to discuss the event with him.
All very strange to me. I know if it were me, I would have walked out of the house in fury straight to a medical centre to get tested in case I had contacted something. There again, the way Bear was talking about his sexual conquests the other night with the girls, I wonder if he would be that bothered about contacting something.
As others have said why didn't they stop it from happening?

CBB will be loving all this press. I'm furious there were only two put up for eviction, should be at least five to make it fair and also interesting.

I don't believe the spit story at all. I think it was all scripted and acted out, rather badly in my opinion.

If a hm can to be paid to stay calm then you have to question whether the behaviour is real or contrived. If the potentially violent behaviour is genuine, don't see how paying extra would stop it and the producers would be putting other hms at risk.

The producers missed a HUGE opportunity for an exciting eviction, instead they made it one of the most dull eviction head to heads I can remember. Surely, for their revenue, including the likes of Bear who had enough votes to be up under normal circumstances would have been beneficial for them.

Who is actually voting for this eviction? Barely anyone, hence why despite the fact polls are saying Grant is going, i reckon it'll be James.

BIB - I'm not so sure. If people are saying BB are culpable in not stopping him eating and drinking it, that's not good publicity.

Definitely a big glob of spit went into the drink, she made the same noise and action toward the food but not at angle where it could be seen clearly but I would assume the same as the drink.

They probably allowed it to happen because the housemates finding out it happened is dramatic TV.

I think that BB must have apologised to him profusely and helped him to see that getting a reaction from him would further humiliate him which was what she wanted.

And, as you point out, BB could have stopped him from eating/drinking it just by making a simple tannoy announcement.

I don't believe BB saw it happening and were 'caught napping'. Once they realised what had happened it was too late to prevent him from eating it. They would then have to apologise to Bear and explain why they missed it. For obvious reasons they wouldn't have shown us this.

people are taking there Bear hate to whole new levels. I think youre just disappointed that he didnt react badly and get kicked out. Bear isnt going anywhere, he is making this series.

They wouldn't have to pay him anything as there would be an iron clad contract that he can't sue them. He would of calmed down by the time of that DR footage. His reaction of its no big deal as he has had worse in his mouth suggests he is less bothered about it then some viewers.

If he remain calm if paid, there is no excuse for him ever not being calm

They obviously had a word with him, same sort of thing they did with Jason the last series.

completely agree with this. the idea that there is some sort of conspiracy, script or 'pay off' is more than a bit far-fetched.
