Im not trying to get people to dislike him but he needs to get called out for last night. He seen the spitting incident and he found it hilarious and then he obviously didnt tell Bear. Hardly the actions of a "nice guy" who he is trying so hard to portray.

Ricky has no duty of care to HMs, BB does and they never stopped it. You are a massive Bear fan, so do you really expect to sway people's opinions of a genuinely nice man like Ricky?

Ricky is the only housemate that seen it, so he should of warned Bear. I dont care if they dont get on pr if there not close. Aubrey could of passed anything on to Bear, its disgusting. Grant, Saira, Ricky and BB saw it. Many of the HMs knew she'd done it. Why do you think no-one warned Bear about eating it or told him after? Because his is awful to live with and they really don't like him. You think he hasn't done anything horrible. I think targeting Saira, when she was already visibly upset, goading and taunting James, first thing in the morning, taunting Lewis that he could kiss Marnie if he wanted, not allowing Lewis to go to the toilet for more than an hour and a half, talking in a disrespectful way about women he has had relations with, shouting 'get your tits out' to an older, respectable, married woman with children are all really horrible ways to behave. I disagree that Ricky is going under the radar. On LF we have seen him being outspoken and challenging things. We have also seen that other HMs find him supportive and gentlemanly. It's not his fault the edits give him no footage on HLs.

Reporting the crime - & it is, in legal terms, a crime, would have required Ricky to do/say something. He's done nothing to interest or amuse, so why change now?

I agree with all of this.

I don't approve of Aubrey spitting in the food but as bear himself said about Heavy's bed - think how pissed off somebody must be to do that, who have you pissed off. Bear had pushed the human/artificial thing too far with things like not letting lewis go to the loo and probably most of the housemates didn't like it so felt Bear had some payback coming to him. Also, he has shown that he is happy to cause others discomfort or upset with his practical jokes so thought it was fair enough.

That's a general point about anybody that saw it (and yes I think Grant was there too) but also maybe Ricky didn't like it but just didn't want to get involved. Telling Bear would have meant taking sides against Aubrey and perhaps he just didn't want the hassle for himself or the House re the arguments it would trigger.

Whilst I do think that it is unsanitary i can actually see why some people would just see it as the same sort of thing as Bear daring Marnie to wave her tits in Saira's face whilst taunting her, assaulting James by touching and rubbing his head whilst he asked/told them not to again taunted him etc. Bear likes 'banter' and japes and Ashley said, if you aren't a 'natural' practical joker, it is harder to judge where the line is. And, by the way, it is a line i think Bear has crossed himself several times.
