These ideas are more entertaining than the current show lol. There needs to be a write up of online stories taking place in a parallel world to Coronation Street.

At a press event today more details were released by Corrie boss Kate Oates over the upcoming Carnage Week which will see soap favorite Mrs Fanshaw at the center of a huge Kamikaze Helicopter disaster that will envelope the street and kill off SIXTEEN characters on the show. "The scenes are explosive, more like a blockbuster movie than a soap" said Oates "We will be saying goodbye to some legends of the show in some shocking and heartbreaking scenes".

As fans on social media have been speculating so much on the fate of Mrs Fanshaw that she is now top of the trending list on Twitter, Oates confirmed rumors that she will be seen to eject from the helicopter as it explodes onto the street and will be hospitalized with non fatal injuries in the aftermath. "Mrs Fanshaw is discovered out on the street in the midst of the chaos" she teased "For a while it is touch and go for her but she will pull through and there is plenty more drama for her character ahead".

Kym Marsh declined to comment on whether her character Michelle was safe.”

This is such an exciting twist to this plot. So Mrs Fanshaw ends up in the wreckage among the other residents, with nobody knowing that it was her who crashed the helicopter in the first place! Genius! Can't wait for these scenes to air.

Who do you think will die?

My money is on

Spoiler
Gail
Sarah
David
Nick
Emily
Ken
Rita
Audrey
Kevin
Sally
Norris
Roy
Steve
Liz
Leanne
Peter

All deadwood characters that need to leave as soon as possible.

I agree, all characters that are going nowhere and have been wasting time on the show going round in circles for too long! They may kill off a couple of true legends to live up to the hype though such as
Spoiler
Fiz, Michelle, Sean, Richie O'Driscoll or even Fat Brenda!!!
. Everyone is in the frame at this point.

Couldn't agree with you more, especially about killing off some true legends for some real shocks. Viewers will be heartbroken if the likes of

Spoiler
Fiz, Michelle or Fat Brenda die.

Imagine the reaction if someone as iconic as

Spoiler
Michael Rodwell

was killed off?

The big question for me is where they'll go next with Mrs Fanshaw once the dust from the helicopter crash settles?

I would be shocked if
Spoiler
Fat Brenda died tbh. I know she isn't a 'major' character but she still has a great presence through the characters. Plus it would be a shame to lose such a great employee at Street Cars.

That would be a huge upsetting shock. I can imagine flowers and complaints en masse centered around his ice cream van memorial statue.

Apparently there are to be some more announcements about upcoming events soon.

Isn't a major character?! Fat Brenda is one of Corrie's all-time icons!

I agree, It would send shockwaves through the street. Fat Brenda is
Spoiler
nowhere near as iconic as Mrs Fanshaw though, she's a corrie legend.

Meh, she is okay but has nothing on that unseen taxi driver who died during the tram crash. He had tons of potential but was killed off way too soon.

I really hope if anyone is, she is among the "safe list" in this carnage. If she were to die we would need a special "Goodbye Brenda" program after the episode.

ITV would be mad to axe Fat Brenda. I can't see it happening at all it's just pure speculation.

Goodbye Brenda, plus an hour special episode depicting her funeral. Then a obscured photograph hung up in the street cars office to remember her by.

Fat Brenda
Best Switchboard Operator
????-2016

I am already getting teary eyed just typing this up. The thought of losing her is tearing me apart.

She was one of Tony Warren's original characters.

Indeed she's devoted the last 55 years to working at Streetcars, having her very first shift in the (sadly junked) pilot episode.

"Only one other character will know the identity of the pilot and this will be key in a future storyline"

Spoiler

A strong possibility I think. It would be interesting to see her interacting with Mrs Fanshaw.

Bloody incredible! I laughed at Jenny in the wig but then came that picture of Mrs Fanshaw ... baaahahahaha!

This is such a shock twist. Pairing up Mrs Fanshaw and Jenny Flamin' Bradley is a stroke of absolute genius, I can't wait to see what mischief they both get up to. They will definitely bring out the best in each other, that's for sure.
