Great forum made great by great members. Obviously not talking about myself here cause I'm an asshat.

EDIT: The moderators are also great, very efficient and fair imo.

I agree Elle

I also like how if you argue with most people one day the next day it's generally forgetting

Obviously it depends on the clash of course.

This forum is great, in particular this subsection we're like one big family! I can name most of the Posters off of the top of my head.

You agree that I'm an asshat?

How rude!

Lol.

It's true about the arguments though, I have had outrageous arguments with people, then a day or two later it's like nothing ever happened! :d

Other times I realise I've crossed a line, feel remorseful and try to make things right. Sometimes we can lose all perspective in a disagreement and it's only later that we come to our senses.

Thats the thing when Hughie won I clashed with some Forum members but the next time we're posting in the same thread its like nothing ever happened. Here on these Big Brother forums were quite forgiving and not as spiteful as some other forums, were really laid back and relaxed and we like to have a laugh sometimes. This is why I like to frequent this area of DigitalSpy.

There was a few years where i wouldnt have admitted to ANYONE about watching BB not even my mum

DSBB was here during the bad days.

DS is also fun for other live shows like Strictly, Brit awards, olympics opening ceremonies, things like that.
I used to go to my mother's every Friday night to watch evictions with her in the early days of BB. She is no longer here but she used to love eviction nights

I'm checking it quite a lot at work, even posting on it when I should be working (It's OK I'm part owner of the company so nobody can tel me off). The first thing I do when I get in is check to see what's been posted when I get in, check it whilst the shows on, even check it before I sleep, that's bad!!!!
Are you the same?
It's very addictive when BBs on! Best place to be, but where have you been in the good years? It was so much better on here when it was on channel 4! These days it's better being on here than watching BB itself, especially after things kick off like tonight!

I love Twitter - it's what you make of it, never understand all the abuse it gets on here. I figure those who slate it just don't understand how to use it properly or tweak it to get the best for themselves from it. It's not all idiots unless you follow idiots

Wow, that's terrific!

I've been here 6 years and I can only name a few I rarely used to look at usernames - I always felt that replying to a post rather than the poster made it better for discussion, but I have in the last year started getting to know some of the usernames I interact with most. Slowly some of it sticks

Thanks Chief! I'll try and hide my shame

And I agree that this makes it more enjoyable! I mean, even on holiday, I risk a hefty bill by just checking the DS forums for like 5 mins a day!

I go on holiday on the Sat 27th, if it hasn't finished by then, i will be looking on holiday to see who wins
I think it should just about be finished by then Salv, fingers crossed!

I agree. The only abuse I've gotten on twitter was a redneck gun nut who thought I was a saddo as I only had 16 followers. I had only just joined so it wasn't bad

I'm in Holland from 11th-14th and I don't do the forums on my phone (although I will be checking Twitter to get a feel of what's going on!).

Then we are at Butlins from 26th-29th so I guess I will have to try and see the final somehow if it's that weekend.

I drift in and out of Twitter. More in when there's stuff like BB or football on.

I was an addicted lurker here for literally years before actually posting anything and, even then, this board improved my BB experience no end. [Have to just say here that I really, really miss WonkeyDonkey. God, what a formidable woman she was - in every sense.]

I couldn't do BB or CBB without this board now - and, even though I don't post much, I'm a regular checker and am more addicted to the board than I am to BB (that's a good thing, right? )
