You and CLL Dodge have been here for ever Labbie, 2003, I thought I had been here a long time!
And it wasn't BB that brought me here, it was Fame Academy. I used to love FA.

I agree. The only abuse I've gotten on twitter was a redneck gun nut who thought I was a saddo as I only had 16 followers. I had only just joined so it wasn't bad
I have about 280 - I don't know why they follow me but that's their choice, I certainly don't follow most of them They seem to like my BB rants and comments so they are welcome to read them! I don't notice (I use Hootsuite) or care if anybody unfollows me and I just go on there and do my own thing.

I like using #BBUK and seeing a list of pictures and captions. Like when someone said "Does @ChristopherMaloney remind anyone else of the statue head from Art Attack?"
and it had a picture of Chris and the Statue head side by side below Lol.

I was an addicted lurker here for literally years before actually posting anything and, even then, this board improved my BB experience no end. [Have to just say here that I really, really miss WonkeyDonkey. God, what a formidable woman she was - in every sense.]

I couldn't do BB or CBB without this board now - and, even though I don't post much, I'm a regular checker and am more addicted to the board than I am to BB (that's a good thing, right? )
This sounds exactly the same as me, and this forum has such good humour and some great posters.

Great forum made great by great members. Obviously not talking about myself here cause I'm an asshat.

EDIT: The moderators are also great, very efficient and fair imo.
You're a puddy cat!

Back in 2010 I switched workplaces and lost the only person I knew who also watched BB. Actually, I'm still friends with her, but I couldn't talk to her about it every day! I was I started Googling BB discussions and found this place. I've kind of taken up residence ever since. It's brilliant fun for the most part and - barring one or two notable exceptions - the vast, vast majority of posters keep it light and (most importantly) leave last season's disputes at the door on the way out at the end of the series.

I'm off on me holliers on Saturday and am gonna miss the rest of this. I'll still try and log in to DS every now and then to see what's the craic, though.

It can be addictive. In the past 9 years i've had periods where I bugger off for sometime. But anyone whose been here a while will probably have had that. Sometimes life obviously will dictate that!!

Yes, hashtags - for all people take the mickey out of the term - are the way to see what you want to see!

I'm in Holland from 11th-14th and I don't do the forums on my phone (although I will be checking Twitter to get a feel of what's going on!).

Then we are at Butlins from 26th-29th so I guess I will have to try and see the final somehow if it's that weekend.
I'm going to predict the finals on Friday 26th. One day before I go on holiday.

Oh nice. Holland and Butlins! I went to the Butlins in Bognor when I was around 10. Want to go again now I'm in my 20s and can do other stuff there

I'm off to Sicily as that's where I'm from. Off to see the family and then party it up at the festivals and clubs as there's a string of Italian holidays in the beginning of September!!

I'd say 95% here. 4% on TV Shows UK and 1% in the Sport, TV USA and GD forum.

HELP

Leaving the niggles from the last season at the door is a very important part of how this board works so well imho

Happy hollibobs Patsy

I lurked for a couple of years, but mainly posted on TWoP (RIP ). The reason I didn't join before was because back in about 2003/2004, it felt like everyone knew everyone else and it was closed to 'outsiders'. I'd already been bitten by the MSE/HUKD bug and then, no surprise why I joined if you look at the date. I had to get involved!

Now, my post count spikes in Jan, May-Sept and again in November during IAC. So sad.

My brother lives in Holland and our parents passed away this year so I am taking Jr there for her first flight. Butlins we go to every year as it's very disabled friendly for her, she loves it.

Sicily - nice

I LOVE DS.

Bringing a child up on my own meant a LOT of nights in on my own, and being just 'around' when she was older.

I go in and out of things - did BB obsessively, then stopped for years, loved GD for a long time, Strictly REGULAR, (joined for Strictly), got obsessed with a particular storyline on EE for about two years. Love the company with Bakeoff, Sewing Bee etc.

I'm freer now, but the habit is hard to kick. It's a lot of fun.

Thats the thing when Hughie won I clashed with some Forum members but the next time we're posting in the same thread its like nothing ever happened. Here on these Big Brother forums were quite forgiving and not as spiteful as some other forums, were really laid back and relaxed and we like to have a laugh sometimes. This is why I like to frequent this area of DigitalSpy.

But Hughie didn't win

...Jason won.

I have become scarily addicted with nearly 400 posts over two months!

Before this, I had 6000 posts on Trip Advisor, but got banned for mocking a 20k a night hotel.
