Hi. I am a lurker. I thought the dance was good considering the music, but thought I would put up what you are more likely to see at a Scottish Ceilidh.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvHeTArCnYQ.

You don't have to watch or watch it all the way through.

Anyway back to lurkdom.
Maybe not as much hopping and skipping, but I felt there was at least a soupcon of ceilidh (I've been to a few ). When they men were dancing round the women, when they were crossing each other, and the rotational nature of the VW gave it that flavour

The relationship between Derek & Mary seems to have really broken down.

I wonder why that's the case?

Would love Jana and Gleb to get to the final although I don't think they will get the votes needed to win. I think Laurie will win because she seems to be the golden girl for the viewers. James should make it to the final and maybe Calvin too.

who would you say the 4th couple for the final will be? id guess Marilu cos eventhough she's not the best she has the public behind her since she hasn't been in the bottom 2 and maybe Derek's fanbase could carry her there, I guess Tera could go next

Don't forget that the bottom two isn't really the bottom two. It's entirely possible that she has been in the real bottom two but not been picked for 'jeopardy' that week. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her out next week. Derek's fanbase may well be thinking that she's starting to make him look bad.

Laurie, James, and Calvin I think are the only shoo-ins for the final.

Dances for next week.

Terra and Sasha – Charleston – “If My Friends Could See Me Now” from “Sweet Charity"

Laurie and Val – Argentine Tango (Song: “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago

Marilu and Derek – Samba (Song: “December 1963 (Oh What a Night)” from Jersey Boys with Mark Ballas)

Calvin and Lindsay – Waltz – (Song: “Memory” from “Cats,” with Leona Lewis.

Jana and Gleb – Waltz – (Song: “She Used to Be Mine” from “Waitress”)

James and Sharna – Jazz – (Song: “A Brand New Day” from “The Wiz"

My understanding of the duets is that they will be on the dance floor at the same time. The theme is showstoppers.

Duets:

Marilu/Terra – Jazz (Song: “Big Noise from Winnetka” by Bette Midler)

Jana/Laurie – Contemporary (Song: “Bird Set Free” by Sia)

James/Calvin – Paso Doblé (Song: “No Good” by Kaleo)

Regarding the duets saw the rules on Kristyn's Twitter - they will dance together and for a portion of the dance the celebs will dance without the assistance of their pros

didn't they do this Amy's year? I remember her dancing with another celeb James wasn't it?

As for final 4 I hope it's James, Terra, Calvin and Laurie but I can't see this happening not a fan of Gleb and Marilu is the worst dancer left

So this is what Karina is up to

E! has renewed Famously Single for its second season, and Bachelorette villain Chad Johnson is among the famous faces who will be joining the cast!

Premiering on E! in 2017, Johnson will live in a downtown Los Angeles loft with seven fellow celebrities where they will be be pushed to their limits and participate in exercises and challenges all in the name of romance.

In addition to The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum, audiences will watch seven single celebs embark on the journey to find love, including Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, Khloé Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq, Jersey Shore vet Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, British ex-military-turned-actor David Mcintosh, former Flavor of Love contestant Tiffany Pollard, British model Calum Best and #RichKids of Beverly Hills star Dorothy Wang.

The seven celebrities will be joined by returning coaches Dr. Darcy Sterling and Robert Mack in the eight, hour-long episodes.

Last season, viewers watched Pauly D and Aubrey O’Day find love, so there is hope for Johnson, who will be participating in his third romance-centric reality show.

Season 2 of Famously Single premieres on E! in 2017
and also from people

The six celebrities who remain in the competition will dance two dances on Monday’s show: one with their pro dancer partner set to a tune from one of Broadway’s biggest hits, and a second where they are paired up with one of the other celebs for a Team-Up Challenge — and PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the dances and pairings!

In addition to the night of incredible dances, DWTS fans will be treated to the return of two-time Mirrorball Trophy winner Mark Ballas. The dancer will take the stage during Marilu Henner and Derek Hough‘s samba to perform “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” from the musical Jersey Boys, which Ballas currently stars in on Broadway as Frankie Valle.

And Ballas won’t be the only Broadway star in Ballroom. Fresh off her starring role in the revival of Cats, recording artist Leona Lewis will perform “Memory” from the Tony-winning musical during Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold‘s waltz.

Wicked and Frozen star Idina Menzel will also perform her new single, “Queen of Swords ” — and join Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough as a guest judge.

It is still unclear if injured pro dancer Sharna Burgess will be able to dance Monday or if IndyCar racer James Hinchcliffe will once again dance with Jenna Johnson, but read the rest of the lineup below:

Marilu Henner and Derek Hough – samba – “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” from the musical Jersey Boys

Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy – Argentine tango – “Cell Block Tango” from the musical Chicago

James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess (or Jenna Johnson) – jazz – “A Brand New Day” from the musical The Wiz

Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold – waltz – “Memory” from the musical Cats

Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber – Charleston – “If My Friends Could See Me Now” from the musical Sweet Charity

Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko – waltz – “She Used to Be Mine” from the musical Waitress

During the Team-Up Challenge, the stars will be paired together for a portion of the dance without any help from their pro partners:

James Hinchcliffe and Calvin Johnson Jr. – paso doble – Kaleo’s “No Good”

Marilu Henner and Terra Jolé – jazz – Bette Midler’s “Big Noise from Winnetka”

Jana Kramer and Laurie Hernandez – contemporary – Sia’s “Bird Set Free”

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
It looks Jenna is rehearsing with James but Sharna is in the room with them from a few instagram posts.

Could be interesting if they're leaving in the temporary time signature change!

It looks like Gleb is now hurt with a knee injury. Don't know the details.

I wonder if they will bring Artem in if need be?

Nope, not Artem. Alan Bersten from the troupe was brought in. Don't know whether Gleb will dance on Monday though.

I absolutely adored Jana & Gleb's Waltz, it's rare that we get a Slow Waltz on DWTS that actually resembles one!

I agree. Jana and Gleb's waltz was lovely. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they make it to the finals but they have been in the bottom two most weeks so I suppose they haven't got the support the other couples have.
The theme for next week's semi finals is trios. I find that concept a bit odd. What is the point of it?

Trio week is one of the more popular concepts on DWTS. It showcases the celeb working with 2 different pros in the same dance. I personally love the trios. Much more than theme weeks.

We have had some memorable trio dances. Two that come to mind are Zendaya with Gleb and Val dancing salsa and Sadie dancing foxtrot with Mark and Emma (Len wanted to give that one an 11), Tristan and Derek with Kellie P dancing paso.

Looks like he was okay and happy to hear is okay.

I was also glad for Jenna so she was not forced to dance with Alan which she did not want if it came to that. It is hard for a celeb to dance with another partner this late in the season so relieved for her especially when that pro might not be popular with the public. She has built her chemistry with Gleb.

I don't think it would be wise to give it another outing in the final. Firstly Len will be judging and will hate it (too much messing about!) Secondly it may well be the reason that Jana's vote appeared to dip - moral majority and all that. Thirdly, it couldn't possibly have the same impact as it did coming out of the blue the first time.
