The snog was a desperate man.
James may well have been entertaining and witty in his conversations. I expect he probably is, given his intelligence, experience and career. Then again, that could apply to grant and any other housemate too. But big brother aren't interested in showing such things. Even in the live feed apparently, where the core audience watching would probably enjoy that type of footage. I'd rather an entertaining conversation every now and again than the constant type of behaviour big brother decides to focus the show on. If they mixed it up a bit, they'd create a better show. Maybe they just don't employ the right staff, either in numbers or talent to mould such interwoven stories in the time available. Go for the easy and obvious storyline every time. Cheaper and quicker probably. Best celebrity housemate I ever saw was dirk benedict, and it was because of his conversations, humour and storytelling. People watching him on these highlights shows would call him boring because he'd never feature. I also like entertaining conversation rather that the 'twits on the beach' types - but I'm afraid James just isn't living up to expectations. Bit of a shame, really. The reason Grant is interesting to me is this: unlike James, Grant doesn't have a reputation to repair in the eyes of the viewer. Grant is a cheat in love and business and he really needs to redeem himself. How far will he go in order to do this? He will have to confront the likes of Bear and Bloor eventually. It could get interesting. |

I loved Dirk. What a shame all that great viewing was lost with all the other stuff going on.

I reall cannot bear him. Only Janes has at least something to offer out of those 2

as if Grant is going to confront Bear and Bloor anyway, he thought Marnie sticking her tits in Saira's face was her just her being herself, he probably thinks Bear throwing a bottle and smashing glass was creative expression?

I'd prefer Grant as although quiet at least he makes an effort. James has given up by the look of it-if he can't be Yoda he doesn't want to be there. However I've just realized that in a head to head between 2 nonentities the pro-Anthea vote will do for Grant.
I was hoping James would stay as I used to find him entertaining on the radio and Grant was a bit of a non-entity. But we hardly see anything from either of them so right now I don't mind which one goes. |

I do think James will stay tonight, not that he deserves it, he is a let down. Shame to lose the only housemate who is desperate as great narratives can come from that...but hey ho that's what you get for changing to rules to head to head eviction in order to save Bear.

Grant is never going to get interesting. James is the most interesting person in there, but they're not bothering to show him, because he's not part of Club 18-30 (or 43).

Have to say there's quite a few people I'd rather evict than either James or grant.
