Yep, I made a thread a few days back and everyone agreed. Lots of people see the similarities!

Can't remember Maxwell being that violent.

Did anyone else catch what Bear was saying about Renee grabbing him under the duvet? He was talking to Lewis and Marnie in the pool but it wasn't 100% clear.

He reminds me off the bloke on Hollyoaks then went on Love Island. Not Bombhead though. Someone with a shaved head. Can't for the life of me remember what his name was!

Are you thinking of Paul Danan? He doesn't remind me of him.

Yeah could be him. Their eyes are similar I think. The accent is similar too. Their personalities are different though. So he doesnt remind me of him in that respect.

Yes, my Dad brought up Paul Danan too. All about those shifty eyes!

Part of him reminds me of Dave Quinnan ( The Bill) whom I liked. But mostly he reminds me of the psychotic Trevor, who Little Mo (EastEnders) was married to until she killed him with an iron.

I know they are fictional characters, but both kind of fit.

Hmmmm, a wee bit - Maxwell wasn't full of suppressed fury, he was over confident & thought a lot of himself, & was a bit of an eejit.
Just for the record, I really disliked him & his eviction was one of the best ever.

However Bear is like a time bomb ready to explode at any moment! He's so arrogant & has such a sense of entitlement.
He's nasty & his whole persona is one of seething fury, he clearly has issues with his temper & seems (to me), to be trying really hard not to explode. He's like a volcano, ready to erupt............

He reminds me of the aggressive short-arse gobshite you'll find in pretty much any pub on a Friday night.

Best, and most accurate, description I've seen of him so far

Attacking a defenceless window does not make you scary
