I agree, no HM should show that much aggression and stay in the house.

He's clearly demonstrated aggressive and destructive behaviour. If he flings another lighter and it causes so much as a minor flesh-graze on any of the other HMs their lawyers will be jumping over it, claiming that the producers put their client at risk by allowing someone who had clearly demonstrated aggression, anger problems and who violently lashed out on more than one occasion (lighter + forcing a locked door open) proves the producer's liability.
As I said in another thread I'm surprised they're taking the risk of letting him stay. I'm not sure their insurance in the event of legal action being taken against their would hold if they blatantly allow a HM who has already shown aggression to continue. It's not as if it was a one-off either. Bear has constantly been verbally aggressive throughout his time in the house, so they can't even use the excuse of it being not reasonable foreseeable, citing an otherwise placid character. They best pray that Bear doesn't cause Frankie to so much as break a nail between now and the end of the run. |

That's three people now who would normally have been removed for their actions, clearly there were no back ups.

We all like to see the bad boys/girls misbehaving but usually it's done for the airtime and all pantomime.
Bear's behaviour is real - when he has a drink and thinks someone is mugging him off he has no control at all and is dangerous. I find him aggressive much of the time, but add alcohol and you have all the makings of a physical fight. He has to go! |

This really is a unpleasant series, isn't it? I feel sorry for the likes of Sam Fox and the guy from Eastenders stuck in there with that lot.

I would feel sorry for the producers, if they weren't such a bunch of incompetents.
The problem is this - the last person who smashed up the furniture won the show. They didn't throw him out. They didn't expect him to win either. So - if they threw Bear out - they'd have to deal with (justifiable) accusations of gross inconsistency. C4 were much, much better at this. If you spoke about noms you were up for eviction. They didn't turn the hot water off for half an hour. If you spat, or threatened, or invaded space, or damaged fixtures and fittings - you were out. C5 have removed who? The twin - who ran out the door too many times. Daley - completely correctly. Your man who was overly affectionate towards Joel. And not removed Bear, Marnie, Boom, Jason, Aubrey. |

I'd happily see them both removed. I think the difference is that that seemed to be the first time Heavy D acted like that. We now know from BB's talk with Stephen that he has been spoken to multiple times about his behaviour and has not changed. If he's been given many chances, then others should be too.
And last nights LOL moment from him is probably the only one we're going to get anyway. |

I don't understand why Bear, HD and Aubrey are still there. In any workplace or even in a social situation, all three would have been sacked or barred.
I like Aubrey, but spitting in someone's food goes against every health and safety ruling, not to mention the possibility of bodily harm if he contracted an illness. He would have grounds to sue BB production in the event. I've never been a conspiracy theorist, and didn't believe the programme was scripted. But the fact spitting was caught on camera, and later actually broadcast to the public has changed my mind about that. I cannot see a situation where a HM caused a legally actionable offence, and was allowed to remain with a simple caution. My guess would be the spat on food was replaced with clean by production staff, and all the parties involved were informed and went along with it. It's likely the HMs had to sign some sort of legal disclaimer, exonerating BB production from all future responsibility for broken rules. The question "is BB scripted and or fixed" is now, in my opinion "probably yes". It's a shame. |

It's a shame. As was Bears antics in the diary room and the massive security guard - just so everyone can start whooping and hollering "haha bear $hit himself" No he obviously didnt - at least no more than any actor gets scared during a scene. |

Celebrity Big Brother is so scripted & hypocritical now, compared to when they used to have 'proper' celebrities.
- I mean Bear & Aubrey should've both been removed for their behaviour - yet just end up with pathetic warnings. Whereas Andrew & Emma from the last series get removed for doing next to nothing in comparison. People should stop watching this biased rubbish!! |

But there are laws covering television programmes. Even "reality shows" have to comply with certain laws, and surely to a God, violence and contaminating another person's food would be verboten. Or is that arm of the entertainment industry really so lax?
Bloody hell. Obviously spitting in someones food is wrong and BB have a duty of care but in a legal context im not sure its that big a deal so long as there are no manifestible damages to person or property occuring as a result , and in this case there seem not to have been. |
