Welcome to the 11th season of the Premier League prediction competition. We welcome 4 new players (chappers1993, DanManF1, Trmcg5 and waitey93) taking part for the first time There are 2 players (Terrence Chant and yakutz) who have made predictions in all 11 seasons to date.
The opening fixture sees 57 players having submitted predictions: Hull City v Leicester City No-one has backed Hull to win this match, although 6 players have gone for them to get a point. The remaining 51 players have all backed the defending champions to win this match. The 2-0 Leicester win is the most popular prediction as 21 of us have gone for that. Both the 1-0 and 2-1 wins have been picked 11 times, whilst five players have gone for a 3-0 win. We have four players going for a 1-1 draw and two predicting a goalless draw. Three players have gone for the season to start with an uber-max and they have each backed Leicester to win 3-1. Good luck to everyone ![]() All predictions and updates tables as each goal goes in can be found at https://dimblebase.azurewebsites.ne |

Not the greatest of starts, as no-one backed Hull to win the opening fixture of the season. Their 2-1 victory over Leicester becomes only the third match from the opening week over the past 11 seasons where we all failed to get any points (following West Ham's win at Arsenal last season and Bolton beating Spurs on the opening day of the our very first season - 2006-07).

So annoyed with that! I was certain I'd put 2-1 as that's what I thought the score would be, but alas I was an idiot and put 3-1.
