I know blokes like Bear; all mouth, well cocky, arrogant but also a wind-up merchant. When you get to know them there usually is more to them and you can get on with blokes like him and have a laugh.
I couldn't stand his attitude at first but he's become compulsive to watch. And the whole diary room damage and temper thing was hilarious. I actually think Bear himself knows that he's not hard but just mouthy and I think even he would see the funny side of looking like a proper melt. He looked like he just needed to rant , get aggressive but seeing the security fella he almost laughed at his own back down.
I wanted James or Sam Fox to win at first but I hope Bear is there to the end. He has given us the best Celeb Big Brother since the Jim Davidson one.
I felt the same about James Jordan too. Hated him, arrogant, cocky etc but realised he was compulsive viewing because he became a likeable wind-up merchant in the process.

Not sure if he DESERVES to win but I would be happy if he did now and i NEVER thought I'd say that last week. Bear MUST STAY. Otherwise it'd be a total bore to watch.

No he has not. I would rather watch people who are pleasant not obnoxious c****. I have not laughed at any if his 'banter' most of his 'banter' is aimed at humiliating others. Playing truth or dare is fine as long as the dare involves the group of people playing. He is also clearly violent. If anything I am likely to switch off if bear stays. A terrible human being.

Whatever floats your boat OP. Personally I do not find him entertaining or a great housemate. To me he is just an obnoxious little boy who needs to learn some manners.

No, he's just nasty and intentionally nasty at that. Everything he is and stands for is the kind of thing I avoid in people.

He thinks he's making 'good telly' when he's a chore to watch. I actually want Chavvy D to take him down a peg or six, shame he would be booted out if he touched him, it's the treatment he deserves.

I'm not talking about a beating, just pinned up against the wall and told to pipe the f*** down and sit down like a good little boy. I think even Renee could do that.

his rude boy act is on 24 hours a day from that we see in the highlights, we are still waiting to see a softer or funnier side, at the moment he's just a one-dimensional bellend

You're entitled to your opinion😃 I agree a lot of people take getting to know but he doesn't seem to have any perception of other people's reactions to him!
Wind up merchants are one thing !
His lack of empathy and temper and vindictive personality are another.
If the pranks had been among friends it's OK but when it's towards someone you don't like it's bullying.
He has n idea he only had 1 less vote than James from the housemates and should have been up for eviction.

I find him utterly tedious. He is a waste of air.

I think Bear is great, he has got this forum talking for a start.

It seems some on here want a nice peaceful quiet house, with HMs just plodding around having nice little chats about the weather etc.

Might as well fill it with old aged pensioners.

My younger brother behaved exactly the same as this tw*t growing up, another little brat with an inflated ego and anger issues.

Difference being that was when he was younger, Stephen is 26!

Bear reminds me of this bloke I used to work with on a building site, used to come in on Mondays and tell tales of pool balls in socks and ashtraying people, obviously to win our respect, this lad was six years old

Wimp in disguise. So funny when he saw the security guy, and turned into a sweet rabbit. " I am sorry... "

Sorry, not interested to see anything about him further...

Just because he's a talking point it doesn't mean he's been a good housemate.

He (and a couple of the others) are show-ruiners, at least for me. Though the producers are worse.

Just because people are talking about him it doesn't make what he has done acceptable or great. I am sure people don't want old aged pensioners in it as age doesn't guarantee good behaviour as it seems that there are so many people that haven't grown up and think being obnoxious is entertaining.

the others are clearly intimidated by him, so we don't get to see them behave naturally, they could be the greatest housemates ever, but while he is there we'll never know

And that's the problem, hence he gets called a great HM whatever he does. BB lazily follows him instead of giving us a cross section of what is REALLY happening in there.

There could be several great HMs how the **** do we know? We never see anyone else because C5 has deemed we all want to watch duck-head and the two slobbering fools.
