The shows had a long standing problem for a number of years.
when it left Channel 4, It had hanging around its neck all the major scandals instead of C5 making it plain this was a new fresh start a total reboot. It carried over all that baggage but C5 wanted sleaze. Look how the 1st few series they did almost anything to get Sex in there.

C5's series are now linked with deeply offensive visual material and they are delighted with that. Its when it becomes verbally offensive the spectre of Channel 4 returns

Good point but I don't think she's married, but of course she has been dumped.

What was Tila removed for? I thoughtit was for saying Hitler was cool or something before she went into the house. What did Aubrey say?

You don't care what he said?

What if he said 'All ethnic minorities should be hung from trees and we should burn crosses on their lawns and I genuinely believe that'

Now he didn't say that and I'm sure he doesn't believe that but 'freedom' of speech doesn't mean complete freedom to say whatever the hell you want.
Lets wait to see why he was kicked out.

That is a very good point . As BB is not live we would never know what any of them say or do because the BB producers decide what clips from the previous 24hrs get shown .

Sorry but If it's true and he made a joke about a concentration camp, he should never been seen on TV again.

There is a thread up showing the transcript of what Biggins said which led to his ejection.

Apparently Katie was in tears as her grandparents were in a concentration camp.

If the transcript is correct, then Biggins was rightly removed from the house.

This is BB at its worst. The hot topic of the day/week/whole show is biggins removal and they wont talk about it for another 24 hours. Pathetic.

Bear should have been ejected maybe Aubrey too but Biggins definetely should have. His bi-sexual comments were distasteful and damaging enough on their own but to joke about concentration camps is even more disturbing. Never liked the man but like him even less now.

Freedom of speech does mean exactly that. Say what you want. Sometimes, though, there are consequences and if your hypothetical conversation took place then the consequence would be that it would be aired to the natiion who would see what a moron ye is and his career would suffer. Prohibiting anything that may offend some people is just treating us all like fools who need to be told what is right ans what is wrong, thereby saving us the trouble of having to think about it for ourselves.

I couldn't agree more.

We are heading for a time where we are all expected to think the same, act the same and say the same.

I disagree with Biggins, but it is his right to make himself look ill informed and uncaring.

Yes, which will mean that the word 'debate' will become obsolete along with freedom of speech.

I keep asking this.. if his comments weren't broadcast then how has he offended the viewing public?

Because (whether he made the comments of not, which is still debateable), they've been printed all over social media. And people being people can, and many will, believe it whether there is any substance to it or not.

My grammar is awful, I began two sentences with Because and And.

If you think about it this is crazy.. I'd never thought I'd see the headline "Christopher Biggins kicked out of channel 5 program"

One the nicest people ever on TV versus a TV company that broadcasts some of the most vile, disgusting, freakish things ever shown.

Oh well, that's debatable.
