What does BIB stand for, please? I've seen it a few times on posts.

I expect it will seem ridiculously obvious when somebody tells me.

I wonder if you have forgotten the incident and the context along with the names and series. Dragging that wee girl from her bed to eject her in her nightwear in the small wee hours was the most monumental over reaction to a mere word!
I completely agree! She never meant anything remotely racist by using the 'n word but was trying to be street and cool to be part of that gang.

I cant see the point of pointing out the bold bit. It is as if it isn't quite bold enough to be seen.

It's a way of saying "I am replying or commenting on the bit in bold and not on the rest of the post. Useful if the original post made several points or raised several questions.

Hi, fred looks like we can now add 'ageist' to racist and sexist might as well cover all the bases.

Says in The Mirror that CH5 chose not to air the comments.
I'm confused as to what he's supposed to have done...and when. Are we going to get a heavily edited offering, in the hope to appease the viewers?

It doesn't matter whether you (or me or other individual viewers) are offended or not.

BB has to follow certain rules as a condition of C5's broadcasting licence.
They have to eject people for saying certain things?

I'd have thought a broadcast licence is about what they can broadcast. Not for what is said in the raw footage.

But a racist/sexist/etc comment can (and is likely to) change someone's entire opinion of a person. If they didn't show it/acted like it didn't happen then many people would be potentially voting for someone to win based on false pretences.
On an edited show, that cannot be avoided.

Any edited to show is entertainment. Nothing more.
