Hard to say. BOTS seems to like to have intentionally controversial guests. He may have actually increased his appeal to them not decreased it.

Although the show could also have Rylan play easy and toss "softball" questions at the old codger, in hopes that it rehabilitates him.

After reading what he's supposed to have said, I very much doubt it. And I doubt we'll see him on TV again either.
