Self pity. Its one of the few emotions a sociopath is capable of genuinely feeling.

I find him totally chilling. He seems to have no boundaries whatsoever, and positively revels in people's discomfort.

He's a classic sociopath.
He said tonight he likes Saira cause she "causes arguments". |

I wonder what he was like as a pupil, if he ever went to school.
A nightmare for teachers, and fellow pupils, I would imagine. Something is not right in there. |

To be fair, I just see him as a typical reality wannabe.

I don't feel sorry for him one bit. If it's upset him it's his own fault for egging them all on to want him gone by being such an arrogant, OTT idiot.

bad parenting
A lifetime of being ridiculed and abused by the very people who were supposed to care for him, He craves attention, but it's lack of the right sort of parental attention that's at the root of this. ... and that boa and mask are fast starting to feel like comfort blankets. |

I meet a lot of people with the disorder, usually I make comments on someone if I see traits.

Same here. You can spot the tell tale traits in Bear if you've known one intimately.

Speaking as a psychologist (yes, I actually am) I reckon he's definitely got some sort of a personality disorder. This ain't normal.

The only psychological disorder Bear has got is he is spoilt and a narcissistic brat who throws violent strops when he can't get others to follow what he says. he wants to be top dog and vyes on attention and publicity and will use and do anything to boost his own sad ego.

That's a very confident overturning of the opinions of those with apparent clinical experience on this thread... I don't know enough about Bear to have any idea of any background issues that may be contributing to his behaviour, childhood/parental etc.. if so people are always very quick to minimise what effect that can have. First thought was a touch of Brighton Rock around him somewhere.. kind of.. whether real or assumed/a front. At any rate it's sad to observe, not necessarily in the 'poor soul he's lovely really' way of some opinions, just sad.
I don't think BB is the right environment for such a volatile person. |

He's a nasty knob, who LIKES being a nasty knob.
Sadly there are quite a few out there just like him. We're ALL on one damn scale or syndrome or another - there comes a time when knobdom has to be owned. |

I don't specialise in clinical psychology, and obviously we're seeing an edited show so it's difficult to diagnose anyone based on that. Like I said, if I had to point out a specific personality disorder I'd guess it's antisocial personality disorder but borderline is also a possibility.

He either has a caring family that is disappointed and upset at his behaviour or a family that is applauding him .........
