Saira is almost intolerable but come on, Bear is not playing her, clearly she is playing him. She has decided this is the way to go to further her game or get her a great deal after the show. After all she is the one that approached Bear and Lewis and she won them over. She is telling Bear how to play the game in her view and is essentially coaching him and owning him It's kind of interesting but hard to enjoy because I can't cope even hearing her voice.

No Saira has now blown it, because she made such a big deal about Chloe upsetting Heavy D by snogging Bear in front of him and how she herself couldn't stand Bear but then nominated Heavy D instead of Bear. Then Renee pulled her up on it on live feed! She knows now that all the others think she's two faced, even James!

She's kept Bear and Lewis on side but everybody else is against her for being two faced! They will turn their back on her too because they are so fickle!

I'm not sure that is relevant Darcy well to my post and this thread. The thread puts forward the view that Bear is playing Saira and I'm just saying that isn't the case. I agree she is a hypocrite but she is making a strategic move and Bear is a pawn in that move not the other way round. By the way her strategy is no doubt dead in the water as countless other HMs will nom her but there may be something to gain from it. It's definitely her playing Bear in my view.

I can't figure Saira out really... But surely if she's a decent person she would've stopped bear eating the food??? Whether he's an arseholian or not.

Maybe they are playing each other because it is mutually beneficial. Saira is soothing the angry Bear, constantly saying 'I know you will respect my personal space now', thus, gaining a pass from Bear's pranks and wind-ups. She knows the HMs are whispering against her, so has little choice but to court the enemy. Chloe is her biggest critic, so by getting Bear (who controls Chloe) on side, she has more chance of shutting her down a bit. Bear really knows he is disliked and is feeling the freeze, so he is also having to court those he doesn't like. I think both Lewis and Bear appreciate Saira defending Bear, so for the moment, she is acceptable. The truth is both Saira and Bear dislike each other and Bear would turn on her in a moment. For now, they both need the alliance.

I think she is doing that all herself. the minute she started crawling up to Bear is the minute she made herself look like a desperate idiot. She is so desperate to try and fit in with who she thinks is popular.

Of course there is an alternative view but it seems to ignore the facts to say Bear is playing Saira. Why is the common view that Saira is thick but Bear is intelligent enough to carry this off I just think it is a knee jerk reaction because Saira isn't liked and people want to put her down. Therefore Saira is being played, Saira is desperate to be part of the the gang, Saira is thick . . .

I find it immensely interesting however Saira's foghorn repetitive voice sadly put me off enjoying it last night as much as I could.

I've felt that way since day one. She's terribly annoying. I take your point but still feel Saira is so self-obsessed that she could never entertain the thought that they would be playing her. Bear, on the other hand, is quite street savvy. He's arrogant but he also knows people's motivations. All four of the 'paddling pool crew' were suspicious of her 'journalistic' approach from the get go. I believe they hold the cards. We shall see.
