It'll be interesting to see how BB handle this, will they allow Biggins some career-saving damage limitation by putting as favourable spin on events as they can, or will they show all the incriminating conversation in its full glory to justify what they've done.

(not really keeping it "back" but keeping it "in time" with the highlights of the actual day)

damage limitation will be interesting... after all, if "bad" he can't really appear as a panel guest on bbbots

By showing it and not evicting him? Then showing how things evolve in the house from such a conversation. Not rocket science.

The only reason to eject anyone is for safety reasons, and the housemates wanting them to be ejected.

But if that's the case, why wasn't it dealt with at the time? That convo is very old news.

It gives them a bit of breathing space to work out a mutually agreed story that doesn't tarnish Biggins's reputation too much.

No, because Renee wasn't kicked out with him.

Because they are entitled to

Well yes, of course

My question was why they did it, not was enabled them to

The point I was making is that if BB believed Biggins had caused serious offense, then surely their priority should have been to issue an immediate statement offering an apology and distancing themselves from the offending remarks

Instead, they have used it to hype up the next episode
