I think they're hoping to keep Bear in longer by having him get the eternal nomination. Can't be an accident they did this the night after his major kick off & temporary removal to another room.

What I mean is that if Bear is up every week then he may get away with the viewers who want someone else out too cos "we can just get him out next week" therefore he stays in much longer.
