Anyone else have a niggling feeling?

That this eternal nomination will have a get out clause - maybe BB will give Bear a task, which if he passes will get rid of the eternal nomination or even worse allow him to give it to someone else?

It crossed my mind as soon as it was Bear that received it that they might find a way of taking it away - it was made more real when at least twice on BBOTS, Rylan said "for the moment" when referring to the eternal nom.

What do others think, or is it just my suspicious mind?

Thing is, I don't think the eternal nomination will be that much of a curse. Because it's a vote to save, Bear will probably survive against some of the quieter housemates. What this might do is make him more cocky, more Bear. I think the housemates may have made a rod for their own backs & the chances of him getting kicked out for being an ar*e more likely...

Hopefully Bear will be up against some of the more light weight hms like Chloe and Katie so he has time to show his more sensitive caring side (like Helen did).

He's not Helen.Nobody who knows him on the outside says he is completely self obsessed. How can he show real caring. If he doesn't have the ability to put himself in someone else's position ?😉

I think you may be right OP. Every time Rylan mentioned bears eternal nomination, he followed it with the phrase 'for now' or something similar, which just sounded odd.

It's not eternal if it's only 'for now' lol

Yeah I think there'll be something to protect him. I'll be VERY surprised if there isn't.

He will be in till final night unless he gets removed.
There are too many people watching that thinks he's this years biggest entertainer and that's from those who like or dislike him.

Which housemate would be in a one on one eviction with him and stay?

In the same way that they kept James over Grant and remember James isn't liked and has admitted he wants to take his fee and run. So the public [voters] keep him in to annoy him

She calmed down a bit after a talking to in the diary room. I think it may have been something along the lines of if we have to kick you out, you wont get paid so cool your jets a little and the prize fund is yours

However, nice side....... ....You're more likely to see Obama win a 3rd term in office with Trump as his Vice President than that happen

I think you are way off, as i think they introduced this nomination to guarantee that bear was up every week, leaving it up to the public to decide his fate.

They'll probably have a task where he can reverse it to be eternally immune from eviction... Helen 2.0.

Well I'm not the only one to think this way. so we'll see.

Maybe Rylan should have chosen his words more carefully - the "for now" was bound to arouse suspicion, particularly as BB isn't new to the manipulation game.

As soon as i heard nomination twist i turned to my partner and told her it would be one person up every week and they would choose bear.

Its bb being gutless by letting the public decide if bear should stay or not.

The for now comment, well thats probably until there is a new hm up every week once bear is evicted.

You could be right and that is why I hope he is evicted as soon as possible - i.e. this week

Eternal: lasting or existing forever; without end.

So how can you have - eternal, for now?

Unfortunately even the BOTS crowd appear to think he is entertaining! Also by doing the eternal nom separately there will be at least 2 others up so in a vote to save against more than one he'll probably stay. If it was against one other then it in effect becomes a vote to evict as to evict him you just save the one other
