Eternal nomination a waste of time

Does the eternal nomination really make much of a difference? Bear is would of been nominated every week anyway.

In this case, it may in fact be a last ditch attempt by the producers to save Bear. It negates the possibility of a head-to-head eviction against a fan favorite in which Bear is sure to go home.

But surely that's how it makes a difference. By giving the HM that always would have been nominated an eternal nomination it forces the other HMs to nominate someone else, opening up nominations to people who may otherwise have slipped through the net due to HMs always targeting the same guy.

Thats true, I still think there will be another twist. I dont think the producers will risk loosing him for too long.
